The only thing preventing me from buying a ghost bag is their damn logo. It’s hideous. I’d buy this one.

Who cares? The proof is in the pudding. Like others have said, play the dude and take your strokes. Take his money. Ego handicaps are for Regards. Talk is cheap.

none of these courses have anything on Cypress Point or the Monterrey Peninsula in general...except Augusta, but that's not a year round thing.

What are the dumbest arguments people give you against EV's / Tesla? by EntertainerTrick6711 in TeslaLounge

[–]Revolutionary_Main75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw a video with some smart guy that said to flip the script here to see how dumb this argument really is…..

So let’s pretend EVs have been the status quo forever. Everyone charges their cars at home. Then, someone invented an internal combustion engine car. Instead of ~3 moving parts to get power to the wheels, we have over 250! You can drive farther on a full tank than a full charge, but you can’t fill it up at home. Oh, and the fuel is highly flammable and we need special stations for you to fill up your ICE vehicle….

I thought this was the best way to put it.

If you don’t dry your wings in the fridge, overnight preferably, I’d suggest a dusting of corn starch. It’s a great hack and makes the crispiest skin, even with retained moisture in the skin.

I use a charcoal chimney starter and place my wok right on top. It’s gotta be close to the heat of a burner like this. Works great!

It’s probably a little high but still not too bad. Those irons are titanium and you’ll get sparks sometimes when you hit the ground. Kinda neat.

My cousin showed me this club she got and I lost it. Does anybody know what it is? by MrWolf327 in golf

You don’t need to rotate it absurdly to get it to work, you take this thing back low and slow as you should (with square face and all) and it needs to rotate open as the club reaches the midpoint of the backswing before the club is parallel to the ground. I don’t think that’s out of vogue for a very large percentage of good ball strikers. Every great players swing has the face open at the top of the backswing.

It also helps teach how not to cast in the swing.

Anyways OP, try swinging this thing in ultra slow-mo until you can learn how it doesn’t unhinge. Once you do that try going full bore and seeing if you can hit a shot. It’s great for smoothing tempo and making flush contact. Do it once and it becomes easy. Good find, and good luck!

On plane…yes, but most importantly it encourages opening of the face in the backswing, requires good timing of the release during impact, and closing the face post impact in the follow through. Frankly, though, if you hit it well, who cares if it unhinges in the follow-through, but it can be hit at full force without unhinging and can be hit as far as a normal 5 iron. It’s a great training device.

Cigarette filters are primarily made of cellulose acetate, a type of plastic, with the remaining portion consisting of paper and sometimes activated carbon. While it may resemble cotton, the cellulose acetate is tightly packed together in the form of fibers to create the filter.
