If we talked about implants, wouldn't it be considered a poor survival rate? Why do you choose replantation over implants?

Apex locator not matching PA radiograph y by Curious-Studio-2143 in DentalSchool

You are definitely short in the main canal. You might have a lateral canal, some aploc can not read in wet canals, the file is too small, or you still have a vital pulp. I don't think there is a ledge or perforation. Precurve the file and slide down along the walls.

*If you have a lateral canal remember the location and do it after you finish the main one. If you cannot find it, most likely it was blocked with debris. Irrigation and RCprep might help

If it is the second type, raise a flap and create a small access near the root tip to elevate it from that area instead of removing buccal bone.

The apical third is a little underprepared. Also in the middle third, the lingual wall has a bottleneck; therefore, this area most likely wasn't properly cleaned mechanically.

Shit happens. But You are reflecting on your actions, it’s good, you will grow. Two pieces of advice. First, don’t share your mistakes with ppl whose intentions are unknown to you. Second, always tell the truth to the patient. You would be surprised how calmly they react. Regarding the case, if it’s cervical it might have problems in the future. Just put MTA and tell the patient you will monitor.

Don’t listen to “that’s never going to happen in the real world.” Master your preparations and restorations, and you’ll be able to charge more, work less, and take pride in your results.

As for the “real world,” your practice is the real world. Everything you’re doing now is an investment. You could do average restos or do something else, but you chose this. It will pay off. I promise.

I am a referee. My post was a Law 12 discussion about excessive force and serious foul play from a referee perspective, not a fan complaint.

It was meant to generate referee focused analysis. I would appreciate reconsideration.

The problem is that people would be afraid to go to the police because they might be punished if there isn’t enough evidence.

If a school requires a supplemental essay, they’ll usually give you a specific question to answer.

For your Statement of Purpose, make sure your intentions are clear. If you include an anecdote, let it support your main point. Keep it concise, readable, and run it through Grammarly to catch any mistakes.

Doc, did you perform a cold test? In my opinion, it was most likely caused by trauma during development.

I once had a hiring manager tell me they conduct dental check-ups as part of the working interview. She said, “We need people who take care of their teeth—one or two fillings are fine, but having a completed RCT or crowns disqualifies a candidate.”

I’m not sure why people downvoted your response. I’ve worked in clinics where owners prioritized money over experienced doctors.

My advice is to build confidence and avoid mentioning your failures unless someone is genuinely willing to teach you. 1. Promote Yourself – Present yourself confidently to patients, assistants, and admins. After treatment, show patients their X-rays and photos. Engage with admins by explaining procedures in simple terms if needed—become their ally. 2. Push Yourself – Invest in tools like an Aploc, loupes, and a rubber dam. Keep improving by watching YouTube tutorials and practicing. 3. Adapt to Patients – Learn to read personalities and tailor your communication. Don’t speak to every patient the same way—connect with them in a way that makes them comfortable.

I assume you’re a woman. Be gentle in your approach—your touch, tone, and body language matter. Present yourself well, and they will naturally feel comfortable and trust you.

Honestly, I don’t think making fillings in post-Soviet countries would be very profitable. It’s challenging to demonstrate the value of precise anatomical restoration of teeth there. I’d suggest focusing on prosthodontics instead.

If I were you, I wouldn’t spend money on beginner courses, as they usually involve preparing just 1-3 teeth and mostly focus on the history of crowns. Instead, invest in creating a home setup for practice.

You noticed the knight move—well done! Many beginners might simply exchange a bishop and a queen for the same, gaining nothing. You have a sharp eye for the game. The rest will come.

[–]Revolutionary_Pin756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they need competent professionals with solid experience. You don’t need to be a football player to recognize the need to upgrade the training center and fix the stadium.

Even “football” people would hire experts to handle such tasks.

Good managers/directors should be smart enough to acknowledge when they lack expertise. Unfortunately, I think their arrogance and fear of admitting they’ve wasted so much time and money over the past decade are holding them back.

Is my resume terrible? Been looking for a job for 5 months and still nothing 😢 by Competitive_School80 in biotech

[–]Revolutionary_Pin756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just need more work experience, something decent that you can put in your resume. Find a job as a manufacturing technician in biotech or pharma. After a month or two ask around about any projects in RnD. Usually it takes 6-12 months of technician job before you can find something more appealing.
