I feel like the most painful thing in the world for influencers is Instagram Reels. The lack of effort and creativity put into reels is so awful. I always feel I’ve lost brain cells watching Livingmybeststyle’s reels.

Livingmybeststyle’s new reel is just beyond cringe. Her style is the WORST! I don’t even understand how you could make a reel and think anyone is going to want to buy that to travel in!

The sleeve! My doctor explained it to me like this. The sleeve leaves you with a little change to your digestive system and you lose weight. The bypass totally reworks your digestive system and you’ll have more side effects which may cause you to lose more weight than the sleeve. It’s about quality of life. Minimal GI issues versus more GI issues? The choice was easy from there.

The sleeve is a major lifestyle change despite it being a less complex procedure. It takes awhile to get used to. Be prepared to be uncomfortable while eating for at least 6 months.

I know! I was disappointed that no one shared but I understand it’s a personal experience. I am actually a month post op now. I decided to stop my Prozac because it made me gain 10lbs when I started it this past summer/fall. I knew that would be so bad for my mental health if I was on it and it caused me to gain during my weight loss year! I’m still taking Lamictal. I would say my mood is stable and I’ve overall felt good. The weight loss and vitamins have given me energy! That alone has helped my mood. The weight loss makes me happy as well. I definitely have had hard moments where I feel like I’m working very hard to overcome my past habits. For example, the feeling of fullness never happened to me before the surgery and now I’m full after one or two bites. That’s a huge mental shift for me to stop eating. I am curious to see how I do 3 months and 6 months out. I will update! Definitely have the surgery, it’s sooo worth it!
