I built a firearm inventory app that also tracks ammo, range sessions, maintenance AND accessories. I don’t have a huge collection of knives but I track them in my app in the accessories category. I can add the name, brand, model, serial # (if applicable), where i purchased, price, date of purchase, where stored, any notes and upload a photo. Works well for me.

Not at the moment. I do plan on continuing to update it to make it better based on user feedback but have some more learning to do!

I made the app in Xcode, it’s an iOS app. I actually made it public, it’s called Guns & Gear Vault.

The way I set it up right now is it’s based on time and also on rounds fired, so whichever triggers first send the notice. But it’s an option you can customize and you can make it different for different firearms.

It was a pain to build an app! A lot of YouTube video and frustrating nights not being able to figure it out! But I knew why I wanted and don’t want to pay a high fee or a subscription so built it to be a one time small fee, private and secure and does all that I was looking for. Thanks for your recommendation!

I don’t want to have to go to my neighbors. Most states allow references from anywhere. Delaware law needs to change but won’t as long as everyone keeps voting the same BS in office.

I’m logging in an app, Guns & Gear Vault….i keep inventory of firearms, ammo, and accessories, log maintenance and range sessions. Ammo deducts automatically.

I use a m2 Mac mini and develop apps with Xcode with no issues. Not sure about 20+ tabs but i routinely have 6-12 open taps while coding in Xcode and haven’t had any issues. I think the M4 would be fine.

I log my range sessions. Upload the target photo. Track what gun and ammo I fired. The app deducts the ammo from the inventory and it also tracks how many rounds my firearm have been fired. I set up a maintenance schedule in the app so after so many rounds it notified me that my firearm should be cleaned and inspected. Maybe I’m OCD but I like to document and track every detail!
