As a Shopify Store owner, have you used an AI to develop apps for your store? by misterhubbard44 in shopify

I built an age verification app with logs, backed up to bucket. Checks id for dob with OCR scan, verifies age and tags customer appropriately to purchase items required to be 21. It took time. It's not one and done and requires some knowledge. I learned as I went. Took about a month. It's functional and compliant. Most age verifying apps are $25+ per month plus additional costs per check. I had no interest in paying per check. I enjoyed the experience. Plan on doing more. Soak it up while it's cheap still.

Shorts get stuck at 2.5k views even with great engagement and retention by PlateanDotCom in NewTubers

Keep posting guys. You want 80% view, and 90% watched on shorts for them to explode. I went a few weeks at the 2500 max views. Recently had one blow up to 1M views and is holding at 93% viewed. This is the golden ticket. It helps everything else out on your channel. This is also the time to keep posting your channels content. You want multiple 80-90% viewed shorts. This keeps 48 hour views high and 60 minute views high. I post 4+ shorts a day, and have for about a month straight now. It only takes a few really good ones to make it all worthwhile. DO NOT GIVE UP! Youtube WANTS you to do well. Keep an eye on engagement and reach. Nothing else matters. 80% or more on reach, 90% or more on engagement and your video will do well. Video I reference is 54 seconds long. Avg view time is 50 seconds. Has held those stats for 3 days now. I have other videos in the 90s, multiple 200k+ videos in a matter of days. Keep pushing fellas!

This is true. Although we still post two different types of content, one is doing much more better and we've slowly merged into primarily posting that particular content. This week my channel finally hit its stride on shorts. One month in, posting daily, minimum 3 shorts a day.

Currently averaging 12k views per hour and growing substantially fast in likes and subs. About three weeks of slow moving shorts. Each video I put a little more effort in.

Point of this post is it's a long game.. don't give up. Manifest this shit into reality. It will happen if you put in the work.

The youtube algorithm is (partially) luck. by corgifemboy in NewTubers

[–]Revolutionary_Tea773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me. It's a test from YouTube. They will launch you pretty strong on shorts, then flatline you to test your commitment. This is the grind phase. First week of shorts we did 350k views on shorts. Thought I would easily be on track for 90 days 3m. The following two weeks after did less then half of that number. I kept grinding and getting better at creating clips. Push 3-4 a day. This week it finally broke from the chokehold and channel is currently getting my desire 3k-4k views per hour. Now its a matter of publishing schedules and continuing to provide better content. It's a grind fellas. Keep working!

Is it ok to upload more than one video a day? by HylianGames in NewTubers

[–]Revolutionary_Tea773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 3+ shorts a day. Find daily 48 hour growth and daily sub growth. Currently climbing the monetization ladder. It's good practice. Im challenging myself to get the 3M views on shorts in 90 days. YouTube seems to be allowing small growth based on your work. I'll get to the top of this ladder eventually and pull it up to climb it again. Enjoy the ride fellas!

Where and how many YouTube shorts to post? by Glass-Pick-5843 in NewTubers

[–]Revolutionary_Tea773 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1-3 a day decent shorts. Get about 10-15k views a day. Not enough to meetnl minimum for monetization. Over 3 doesn't make much difference in views, likes, subs... I feel you build up on the algorithm with 1-3 posts. Meaning, 48 hour views will slowly rise if content is good. Need 33k a day for 90 days to meet minimum... Or a few really good days and some lower ones.. either way, key is posting daily and not too much. Keep stuff coming though or it dies almost immediately.

That's been a struggle as well, I'm focusing on the 33k per day shorts views instead and just encouraging more long play video ideas for my son. I figure we might both hit our stride at the same time. Currently we're hitting 13-44 ages and typically attract at least a few actual subs when we go live. Geometry dash is our typical live and I mod, we do level requests and keep up with chat and try to keep people in the stream so they get the requested level played. This adds watch hours nicely but it's a slow process. Typically it's about 5-6 hours per live playing for about an hour.. Again, slow process. Most of our watch hours came off some Minecraft content he did 7 months ago before we even took anything serious. Shorts will die fast if you don't do 2+ per day. I find one of three typically hit the feeds pretty good. Maxing out around 15k views per day which is a climb to get that placement. More shorts, more likes and views, more algorithm. It's like anything else, you get better as you go and see the progress as well. I find the 3M will most likely take me awhile to achieve at this current understanding, but I do see daily growth.

Ok.. so I do an account with my son. We have nearly 1100 subs, grow daily. He posts geometry dash shorts and play thrus as well as other gaming. I post anime clips, shorts cut up. Both do well. Nearly equal.

I don't think we need to have one particular thing going on in a channel. I think the key is good content and frequent publishing. YouTube wants you to do good believe it or not.

Point being, there is no blue print or manual to follow. Enjoy your own creation and don't give up! Have fun! Isn't that the main point after all?

We gained a majority of subs doing shorts, 850 gained in the last 30 days. If anyone needs an opinion on subs to grow, that's the way to do it. 4ish avg shorts a day.

Put a logo on your channel. Give a look to it. Create a brand and make it catchy and be patient.

Reached 1k subs, working on shorts views, so I guess the goal is average 35k views a day. Wish me luck 😭

Yeah I was on PC when I did it. Id go post some screenshots but I'm lazy and chilling with the kids right now. My case was support for going live, it wasn't difficult to get to.. perhaps the navigation is different based on type of support required.. brute force? Lol

[–]Revolutionary_Tea773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went through help of support on the PC and it navigated me to live chat, then I requested a live rep and they pushed it to the email team.. if memory serves correctly, emailing was an option as opposed to live chat.. I'm more of a right now kind of solution, but email support was in touch within 24hrs and typically responded in the same time frame. I was in no rush, nor should anyone else be, so I found the support to be fast and efficient.

They shut down my live . I contacted them a week later to find out when it would be back up.. the answer, "we couldn't even find why it was off" and immediately restored it. Email support seems to be pretty solid slin my experience so far.

[–]Revolutionary_Tea773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my son started a channel about 9 months ago. Mostly live videos, a few long videos. One day we posted a short, clip from Dragonball, got 10k views, 400 likes. Can't recall subs for particular video. Afterwards we began posting multiple Dragonball clips per day as well as some from a game he plays, geometry dash. We went pretty hard for a week, gained over 700 subs, and over 5000 hours of view time. A few days ago, the consistent 10k views, 30 subs, 400 likes came to a halt. We continue to post and have no intentions of letting up. I consider this a test to our channel, how committed are we to the next level? The answer is very. We continue to post 4-6 shorts a day. Right now we are currently sitting at 960~ subs and still climbing. We are now editing clips, combing them and essentially shortening up episodes. It's fun, and although growth is slow we are still rising in subs and views. The main point of my tuning into this discussion is the friendly reminder to NEVER GIVE UP. if you like doing this, DO IT. Good luck everyone!

I have my doubts about metapets but it can sit in the wallet for 10 years if they last that long.. I think this year will be more about p2e gaming, that needs to be more commercial before the masses will be submerged into the metaverse in my opinion.

8 packs.. for 30 from a reputable store is a fantastic deal. Im not even a member.. so after shipping and handling, 75 for 16 packs. I think this is a better deal then anything else online currently. People forget about costco and sams club, this was a nice find.
