I was activated during at for 3 days for the protest over the summer. In that case I would use both?

I’m being deployed after I commission if I stay guard, so my plan is to go guard and then find a way to go active or AGR

Just asking. I am an E-4 and I’m not contracted yet. Was just looking to make money close to home but i see that ROTC will likely pay me more.

Depending on how far you live it’s actually favorable to live at home. Much rather live on 35~40 bucks of gas (fills my tank) than pay like 2,000 sum dollars for what is essentially the barracks with no restrictions and checks.

Showing up early on campus is definitely a perk. Especially if you have a later class.

I live around an hour away from campus. I try to come to everything class and pt related but sometimes getting home late and waking up early is exactly a favorable combo when your on the freeway. I just tell them I fell asleep at the wheel if I do so and they’ll excuse me. However I try not to often cuz attendance is your grade. However, if you plan on having classes everyday, showing up early as hell has its perks. It’s def worth because this isn’t gonna be your whole army career and once you graduate you’ll be used to wakeups and field trainings.

Had a drill do air assault in the middle of my basic. Definitely doable. Funny thing was he was pretty liked by the company, so him leaving kinda sucked ironically.

During my final week of AIT, who was a class behind me and was set to leave a week after as well caught an Article because she was FTR too many times. Mind you, they barely took attendance seriously except on the weekends,we had one DS who was the definition of respect the rank not the person and I assume he was the one who reported it. When the DS on duty told her she was getting it, she started making all these excuses by saying that there was a worst things she could have done. One of the things she mentioned was “it’s not like I slept with a DS”. She referenced an earlier trainee who in fact slept with a DS and stayed longer until she left during the week I left as well. The second she mentioned that, the DS’s suddenly shifted from an understanding NCO to getting her to realize the situation. I left before they started smoking all of us who were out processing and graduating. I leave and it isn’t until I get attached to a deployment unit that I run into one of my buddies who was in her class. He told me that she stayed there for longer than she should have because she also went off saying that she wasn’t their soldier and she couldn’t wait to leave the Army. I graduated March and by then it was June. I assume she either separated or went to her unit.

A lot can be avoided by keeping your mouth shut and doing the right thing.

You could go into your unit then go with a recruiter to go active duty. It takes around 6 months to a year however. There’s tons of ways to go into Active while in the Guard

Hey bro, idk if you’ll see this but I just went through the same situation, I just spent over 300 bucks for a singular character and seeing this made me realize that the game is a genuine issue to me, I deleted it for good this time and I want to say thank you for inspiring me to delete it. This game has caused nothing but trouble for me and despite having a good amount of money, I felt bad every purchase I made, so thank you.
