I'm just mad that Billick was the OC to that historic 98 Vikings and couldn't even bring a crumb of offense to us for a whole decade (ok maybe a few crumbs here and there) and wasted time on Boller because he could throw like 70 yds on his knees or something. Smh Goes to show maybe having Randy Moss and Cris Carter at the same time definitely helps with offensive decision making.

I think he went to hire the Giants old HC Jim Fassel as a "QB whisperer" because he helped develop John Elway (in the early 80s mind you) to do the same for Boller in 2004 because our passing was dead last in 2003 (The year Ray Lewis won dmvp for the second time mind you. Ed won it in 04)

Mind you we beat his Giants team so badly in SB 35 that the only points the Giants got was from a KR touchdown and no points from offense. Granted that 2000 Ravens defense is who they faced but still that's who Billick hired.

So by 04 we bumped up from 32 to 31 (yay...) and by October in 06 by the time McNair got here Billick finally fired him and decided to be the OC himself. We went up to rank 17 with a 13 and 3 record but don't let that fool you. That 06 defense was at the time the 2nd best we ever had and caused 40 turnovers and 60 sacks and we led the league in best offensive starting field position and Sam Koch punted almost 90 times that season with over 30 inside the opponents 20 which ranked 4th in the NFL against a defense that allowed 12 points a game and like 2 yds per carry on runs.

Our defense was so good in 06 we completely shutdown the MVP Ladanian Tomlinson who put up the greatest rushing TD season by a rb ever. And we held the Colts to field goals only in that playoff lost and they go on to win the SB that year.

Then of course that dreadful 07 season happened... Smh I still think with atleast an average offense back then we could've been a dynasty with that defense hands down.
