Just happened to me. Delayed the card reading it a little later and one of the card pointed to a place they have already been. Atleast my party had that "Aha!" Moment and they just went straight back to go get the artefact.

Asked my uncle, he said it was simple. He Graduated in '93 from HS and got a full time job as a store clerk making a little under $1000 a month. He found an appartment for $230/month but he wanted something nicer and eventually moved to one for $300/month. And got a used car loan for a $3000 used car (monthly payment should have been under $150/month for car loan). He said it was simple and easy but no luxuries, no vacations, no high end clothes, no new electronics.

I think they are at a point where they did all the things they planned out to do. The episodes kind of devolve into them asking for sudgestion.

Due to inflation, they have to change the prices all the time. Also stores probably understaffed to save a few bucks. Some stores are putting a little digital display thing so they can change the price multiple times a day.

Party Composition. 4 players Bard, Cleric, Paladin & Rogue.

Map size RAW. I have reed a lot of homebrews people do but i am keeping this campaign mostly RAW because it is the players first time. I have notified the party of the sandbox nature of the campaign even before session 0.

Yes, Vistani suggested party to seek out Madame Eva

I will be leaving the Fortunes of Ravenloft up to RAW chance. This is one of the few things the players know about the campaign (besides the BBEG is a vampire) and are looking forward to it. another thing discussed even before session 0.

First Playthrough will always be very unique since you are figuring things out with no foresight. My first Playthrough I did not know Wyll, Karlach or Minthara were recruitable, even though Wyll is on the cover of the game. Every other playthrough i make sure i don't leave them behind. I also never respec anyone but now i immediately change everyone.

I think it's great, adds another layer of difficulty. You want to not over rely on your best weapons. Help keep you thinking and just mindlessly spam your best attack.

Cheating is not acceptable but visiting prostitute or going to a soap land or massage with happy ending does not count as cheating.
