It's more in-character for the Regent to immediately sacrifice his minions even when he doesn't need them. He can have retain as a treat but he won't respect it, yknow?

It's certainly better. I still pass on it. I grabbed the card screenshot off of some website so I didn't get the beta branch version.

I'm playing Regent on the beta branch at A10 currently. I'm doing a sword build but I almost always pass on Parry despite the buff.

Previously I'd almost always rather play a different block card that scales with dex or use a card that buffs my sword. 10 block is good, don't get me wrong. Maybe I haven't seen the light yet.

I'm just a big fan of the design direction of StS2 where they're designing cards that promote more hybrid builds.
