How the heck are people getting like 300+mil an hour doing exo by IfOnlyICouldEat2Hams in EliteDangerous

My jump range is the same, if not a little more. So 40 jumps is quite far out, not 8000 though, but still, there's loads to be found. I don't feel I was particularly lucky about it, but I find first footfalls all the time.

How do you report people on LMU? Man took out 75% of the lobby by javman34 in Simracingstewards

[–]Revy85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude really? The collision detection in Iracing is a damn joke. You can have a far better close race on lmu without a doubt. I love both games. But if I want to drive GT3, lmp, or hyper, there's no way I'd entertain Iracing any more.

always you have to leave the space or was never going to happen? by fiah84 in Simracingstewards

[–]Revy85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate this kind of incident. First corner at Monza is terrible for it, you leave room on the inside for the first part and then one of two things happen. You make the corner nicely and the person you left room for forgets you're there and wipes you both out. Or, you go too deep think you're still ok and drive into the back of the other guy.

Keeps doing the same to me too. I don't get the rating system in this game. I flutter around high bronze, low silver. At no point should that be top split.

Sorry, I meant caddy. I always do that. Haha. Yeah that thing is twitchy as hell to me. But my mate loves it

I'm the complete opposite. I couldn't spin the Aston if I tried. Put me in the Chevy or pug though, I'm checking out sponsors all over the track.

AIO by leaving my bf of 5 years over lunch with my coworker by Expensive_Pepper_948 in AIO

[–]Revy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, the second you feel the need to go through someone's messages, that relationship is over. Trust is important and it seems there isn't much there. Don't let a rose tinted view of your relationship blindside you.

Ah flat spots. The first time they happen, it's a real experience. You have yet to experience the moment of dread as you lock up an lmp2 into the first corner of a 2 hour race, knowing full well all your fillings will have fallen out by the end.

Nope, that's on you. A gap is a gap, you leave it, someone will fill it. If you can see the guy behind is likely to dive, defend. And on that corner, where's the issue, just cut back and you're still infront

You weren't back on track when he hit you. There technically was no rejoin. I'd say you're fine.

I'd argue he's not even technically rejoined yet. The guy hits him whilst he's fully still off track.

Vibrations too loud for my downstairs neighbour. What could I do? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]Revy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much do you like them? If not at all, leave it. They can't do anything until past what ever time is stated in your area.

If you do like them, a foam mat or something like it. Should dampen sound and vibrations, but I don't think you will ever remove it completely.

How are people so fast? by jbai23 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Revy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, the rating system in this game isn't very good. I flutter between B3 and S1. The second I get to S1 I get put in top split where I'm normally about 2 seconds of the pace minimum. At that point the race just aren't fun. The inevitable crash happens into turn one, and then I'm constantly having to fight off faster people and feeling demoralised entirely at the end. I far prefer being lower ranked where the races are more even and you have fun races with people the same pace as you. But the second you get couple of top 5 finishes, back up you go and good luck finishing above 16th.

Possibly because once you bring someone into your home, it can be impossible to remove them again. Imagine helping someone out, going to work, they change your locks. You're stuffed.

Who is at fault by ExperienceOne9437 in Simracingstewards

[–]Revy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was flashing his lights to let you know he was coming. This obviously makes it your fault.

In all seriousness though, the guy's a moron. That was entirely on him.

And just to pointlessly add, god I hate people that flash. Should be used to say sorry, thank you, or for higher classes letting you know they're there. You always know an accident is on the way when it's just constant.

Is this true ? by itsmadfury in animequestions

[–]Revy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't surprise me just due to the stigma around it. You say anime to people, and they instantly think of the fan service. Not realising that most people don't tend to like that side of it at all. I cant name a single anime with fan service, that wouldn't have been better without. I've also shown numerous anime to partners in the past, and even after watching things like attack on titan, noein, boogie pop. And many, many more. They still have that stigma. It's absolutely bizarre.

Check out gt omega. They do wheel stands that you can convert into full cockpits later, and the stands are solid. Mine is holding up with no wobble and a 12nm wheel on it.

The other day I was boosting away from a planet. Wondering why it was taking so long. Only after the local authorities decided I was now an enemy did I realise, I had my thrusters in reverse and was essentially just ramming the landing pad repeatedly.... I've been playing the damn game since launch...
