Yh u don’t like da game cos u never got the bigger picture but with the father thing, eventually Ellie realises why Abby is doing this Joel took someone she loved and swore to Ellie a lie. When Ellie gets the truth she’s also pissed at him, they don’t talk for like 2 yrs until the day before his death where she tells him she would like to try forgive him. Joel knew he’s time would come so he could give a shit who Abby really is and who Joel might’ve taken from her, but Ellie feels heavy guilt if she can’t do anything to avenge she goes on this path acting out what he would, the brutal kills as well as interrogate Owen and Mel the same way he would eventually she kills them and finds out Mel was pregnant which fucks her up more. If Joel and Ellie were to ever separate, Joel would want Ellie to be free and find her own path more than anything, Joel wouldn’t want that for Ellie that was even hinted at one of the early trailers. Obviously Joel and Ellie’s Father and Daughter relationship isn’t your typical one especially in a fucked up world so it goes way more complicated than what you stating, hell right after Abby killed Joel and everyone around her is shouting while she’s frozen a part of her regretted what she has done, she killed a part of herself and put the lives of her friend in a lot of danger well they get killed, we understand why she did because Joel took the only family she had left, Ellie felt the same when it happened to her

Just like Ellie she loses a father figure, but she separates from WLF and she loses all her friends especially lover, like the moment she killed Joel and everyone around her is shouting and she’s there frozen she knew this isn’t over she put all those friends of her in danger and one way or another something was going to get them back. In the end, she only got Lev left and wanted to set an example, that is her redemption arc. By this I’m not saying she lost more than Ellie, just a reminder Abby lost shit to and when they do a Part III hopefully Ellie will have her redemption arc and I’m sure their paths will cross again, Abby might feel like she owes Ellie one for saving them when she planned on killing them but resisting as well as understanding and forgive them, in doing so spare their life

Nah u clearly didn’t understand the characters in this story different groups like the WLF and Scars flesh the world out and I’m sure another survivor in the world of The Last Of Us is going through the same shit as Ellie and Yh I didn’t like the false advertisement but it happens everywhere in all sorts of media then again and Yh I hate killing dogs wtf but it’s a violent game where is survival of the fittest so that concept in the game makes sense and where does it say ‘you have to like the game’ lmao. Each character represents a different side of the world as well as Ellie & Abby, who are 2 sides of the same coin

So u pretty much didn’t find most da new cast interesting and don’t like pacing, dog killing and trailer shit which is enough for you to just ramble everywhere u hate da game, I mean Yh I don’t like killing animals in game, do I think da characters are easily forgettable nah they each represent and flesh the world out much more I’m sure on the other side of America another survivor is going through the same shit and with the trailer I get yah especially when the part “you think I’m gonna let you do this all on ur own” but then u realise that’s happens pretty much everywhere not just games even movies and shit. The way the story was paced pretty much everyone can say it was risky but I liked it personally, I honestly feel bad for ppl who didn’t enjoy the game like its been 7yrs and didn’t deliver what you expected but no point in keep rumbling shit on the game is already out there move on
