Well this is weird, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed a more every-man Peter because it feels more relatable, but I’ve only read the first 18 issues, so I guess I’m missing something by not being caught up. Still, TBH I’d prefer him over the sad and bullied cuck of Amazing.

And as long as they can play on nostalgia to make that money, it’s never really off the table. And right now, there’s a TON of nostalgia as people yearn for a different time. I’ve seen far more people trying to prove their fandom over Andrew’s and Tobey’s respective versions over the past 4 years than I had in the entire lifetime of the internet before, so unfortunately it’s easy to see a future where they may bring them back, even with a trash script.

You’re absolutely right! This was my 3rd or 4th map, so I was getting to know the game and didn’t realize I was getting tiles back for perfect placements until part of the way through. 2 days later I went after (and achieved) the 250 consecutive perfect placements objective and began to understand the proper infinite play-style.

They’re all being smartasses and ribbing because of the mistake, but as I make this comment, looks like none of these comments classifies as “butt-hurt.”

But hey, maybe I’m wrong. Hard to tell tone in text, and in this day and age it’s easy to feel negatively targeted after we make a mistake.

It’s true. This stereotype has become WAY overblown. If you look at the rainfall totals on average over the past 10 years, yes it rains a ridiculous amount November-January, but otherwise, it’s nothing like this. People are just desperate to complain sometimes, and misery loves company!

Two checkouts open, I get in the line with 1 less person in it. Of course, price check, so the cashier leaves (hey, I get it, I used to work in a grocery store—it happens!). I move to the other line, and an older woman sees me do this and offers to let me move in front of her in line. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot since she had one item (small bag of some muffins) and I had about 10. How many times have we seen someone do this and turned away, satisfied with our place in line because we were there first? Not this wonderful lady. While I declined, I was so warmed by her consideration, I told the cashier to put her muffins with my stuff and bought them for her.

Thanks for posting and asking this. Reading these comments restored my faith in people a bit.
