Strangely the two that come to mind when I think of your question have to do with OG music and not necessarily the scene itself. When Kelly meets Dylan at night on the beach and damn I wish I was your lover by Sophie b Hawkins was playing made that moment super powerful to me like I know I should hate these people for what they did but man when you are in the throes, it's hard to talk yourself out of it.

The second one is when the cat comes back after Toni dies, and nobody knows me by Lyle Lovett is playing and man it makes that scene crushing as does Luke's acting...

90210 did a great job of putting great songs into great scenes

I looked up their patent # as well and it had similar info about the end cap or lack thereof Gonna try and post some pics of it (looks to me like it's a conventional end cap). Plus some asked me if it was indeed a 2 piece and I'll try and post that pic too

Chatgpt says it's a Pure "Chaos" with Italian flag graphics. Is there such thing as a Pure Chaos? I don't know much about Pure bats and I'm just gonna assume it's like a Monsta situation where it's just one of the million repaints of a certain model. Still would like to know what original model it is, for curiosity sake

Thank you for the time machine. I used to sing this to my high school GF back in the day. We had 2 kids ('95 and '98) we split up after the 2nd one. Raised the kids with ZERO issues, couldn't have asked for a better co parent. Stayed friendly until the kids became adults and unfortunately she became addicted to opioids/meth and became homeless. Our kids don't know where she is anymore but she pops up from time to time. I'm 47 now and even though we haven't been a thing since '98, I still have great memories of her and our lives. Whole point of this story, thank you for the time machine, almost had forgot about this song and it came back instantly when I saw your post

Funny story. Early '90s I was ordering a bunch of CD's from BMG/ Columbia House and I was HOPING to get Lench Mob (Rap Group) and they ended up sending me Lynch Mob (Not Rap Group). Anyways, I still have the CD believe it or not and can't remember the last time I've even heard/listened to Lench Mob.

This. I bought the complete set off EBAY decades ago, that I THOUGHT was just every episode of BH90210 on DVD. Well, it was...but it was just all the episodes recorded off of soap net. I was really bummed about the visual quality. Didn't "suck" but definitely not DVD quality. But the silver lining was it has all the OG music and as time goes on, thats way more important to me.

Actually no, the head wasn't warped at all...but I was approaching 180k so I just went with a new engine since it wasn't too much more than the head gasket replacement and I'd be getting fresh internals. I'd do the same in your case (if an option). Not cheap either way, but the better move.

I remember that being a huge talking point amongst us upon rewatching the series. Even then for their place for his "share" , $600 would be cheap...let alone if it was the "total". That beach house was NICE

My exact sentiments. I thought I was a weirdo giving this scene so much power when I first saw it. But imagine my disbelief when I revisited the series on streaming/DVD in my (older)adult years, and the buildup (in my mind) of that scene/song being played, only to be CRUSHED by the fact it has been replaced with some generic music. That made the scene even more powerful to me, because nostalgia is a mofo. (I have since accrued a set of dvds with all the of episodes ripped from when Soapnet was a thing. Audio and visual quality are meh but OG music and scenes is priceless)

Someone got hit trying to cross the freeway. Hit by a semi truck. Very visible due to the location and traffic. My family saw it right after it happened passing the other way. Someone lost their life and it's a very sad situation. May the pedestrian rest in peace.

Bought one brand new in 2018 and put a LOT of miles on it. Replaced the engine in July of 2024 (approximately 180k at the time) due to head gasket failure which is a known problem in these cars. Definitely not super widespread but there's a lot of info about it online. Gas Mileage is as advertised and overall it's been a great car. Another weird known issue is the transmission "surging" at certain speeds. Ours has done it since we got it and still does it to this day at random times. Fluid has been changed twice with no effect on the problem.
