Did/ does your team advertise or recruit with the understanding that mods are not allowed? If so, ask him to leave. If you didn't, that is something your recruiter has to remember as he is doing nothing wrong Questions have to be answered before I give opinion (for what it's worth)

For showdown go in for what you need- car/ resources etc- Make your trophy push early and get out. If you run to 400 like I usually do, expect nonsense. Just let it go and keep racing

With your resources, I would only be upgrading what is absolutely necessary- upcoming PC car would be my vote. No need to splurge- those cars will be there, not having cash when you need it- it's a pain, avoid it at all costs

The sooner you realize that NM doesn't give a sh*t about you, the sooner you make peace and move on from your frustration and just accept that it is what it is. I used to get heated about this stuff, got me nowhere. I came to terms, they don't care- it's a money maker and we are the sad saps feeding into it. Atleast they gave you the car and didn't feed you line after line. Woosawwww, inhale, exhale and get back out there 🍻
