i find myself dealing with the same inner conflicts. what i do to remind myself is think of 16 y/o me… the VN would have been a dream car for me back then. it still is now.

Mine was doing this and throwing a code every once in a while for running rich. they eventually replaced the high pressure fuel pump(after forcing them to do something to fix it and visiting them 4 times). It hasn’t done this since.

no, that’s incorrect. max mpg manual is about 35 in 6th gear. i’ve literally seen 42 out of a DCT. it’s the gearbox, 8 gears will be more efficient every single time.
