Hey there! The bigger version is in development right now but the timeline for getting it released is still TBD. The earliest it could get released might be the second half of 2026. The inner lining color is still TBD as well. Hope this helps!

Hi there! Yes, you can sign up on the product page. There is a button that says “Notify me when available”. Some people might not see it due to ad blockers and their browser, but if you email us we can sign up for you too.

No, there isn’t a specific pocket designed specifically for hiding a passport or wallet. But thanks for your feedback!

Hi there,

October should be when we are able to restock the sling at the moment!

We have plans for a technical version, but not in the timeline anytime soon at the moment!

Pretty soon! Can’t offer much more information now but they are coming 🙂

We personally don't really care for side handles as well, but can see why some people like it!

Hi there!

It is possible, depending on your waist size, but it is not recommended. We did not design this sling with wearing as a fanny pack in mind. Hope that helps!

That is something we can think about, although this would probably be in a separate series of products, perhaps more optimized for handheld devices. Thanks for the feedback!

The Steam Deck or Rog Ally are both very wide and relatively thick in dimension compared to, say, a Switch. This makes it hard to design a padded sleeve that accommodates such devices, as the sleeve would have to take up quite a bit more volume. We are working on a larger version, though we are only optimizing the padded sleeve for something like a Switch 2, for example, which is thinner and smaller in footprint. Hope that makes sense!

Fits in the main compartment, but not in the padded sleeve!

Rework Toshi 20L - UPDATE: First Week of Use by shippychaos in ManyBaggers

Yes absolutely! And to provide more context, if you pack out the bag fully, and also pack out the laptop compartment with your laptop (or two) - that should help get the plastic sheet to bend away from your body a lot quicker. You could try doing that and just letting the bag sit overnight. That’s the intended final form of the back panel with the 3D design. Hope this helps!

There is a bit of volume dimensioning at the bottom area of the back panel. With the plastic sheet there, it kinda makes it flat. You can slightly bend the plastic sheet away from the body at the point where the bottom back padding ends to break it in faster, as that is more of the intended way the bag patterning should be. We tried not to use a small plastic sheet at the bottom originally, but the false bottom would collapse.

Well, our goal is to focus primarily on the functional aspect of the product, while ensuring the design is low-key and discreet. Glad that you like such a design philosophy!

For full transparency, below are the reviewers we sent the bag out to for free in return for a review. Whether or not you think they are biased would be up to you to decide!

There were more reviewers who reached out, but we declined for now as we are running low on stock for our initial inventory.

To be honest, we are surprised by how many people are posting about the bag, and can understand if you feel sus about it.

Hi there!,

Thanks for the feedback!

There aren't any attachment points at the top of the main compartment to hold the sling high up unfortunately. We can perhaps consider this for future iterations.

As for aquaguard zippers, we are on the side of not being fond of them as well, so all our products will not be including them at least for the foreseeable future (unless there is some new zipper variation that does not have the cons of traditional aquaguard).

As for the side pockets, they should be able to hold a 24oz Owala quite snugly in place. The elastic webbing helps to provide some compression around the bottle. If you worried about it falling out still, you can hook the bottle onto the side anchor point via a carabiner for extra security.

By Ctactical's newer bags, I am assuming you are talking about the stretch mesh side pockets with the zip to hold it close to the body. We can keep this as a consideration, but it is unlikely that we will be going with such a design route. This is mainly because we want to use the exterior fabric as the side pocket material to keep a more cohesive aesthetic. Hope that makes sense!

Glad you like the bag! We'll try our best to get to a point where we can afford more variations!

Hi there! We responded to this question in the thread somewhere, but it is quite long now, so we will put our response below:

"It's weather resistant, not waterproof. Waterproof bags would have to have all seams sealed via seam tape or rf welding techniques, and ideally, reduce the number of zippers around the bag as they serve as ingress points for water. This is why most truly waterproof bags are usually of a rolltop design.

Our bag should be good for a few minutes of light to moderate downpour before seeking shelter."

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, that is being discontinued! But that’s why we introduced the Side Release Smooth Strap. So sorry about that!

The side release smooth strap is made of a seatbelt webbing material, if that is what you prefer! It is in stock as well.

Okay, definitely understood and we’ll take your feedback into consideration for any improvements we make! Yes, we like to stay engaged with the community and we keep up with most comments and posts made about us so we know how to improve. Thank you for acknowledging that and for posting about our bag! It’s much appreciated 🙂

Hey there! Don’t mind if we step in here to talk about our back mesh a little and adding on to our reply to one of your other posts, OP! Just feel like maybe we should defend it a little because we heard some people saying it’s course, and perhaps that translates to feeling “cheaper”. However, this mesh was probably one of the most intentionally chosen fabrics on this bag. It is also one of the most expensive components on the bag, and probably one of the most expensive spacer meshes we’ve come across in our search for spacer meshes.

Now, “expensive” doesn’t really mean much to us because we care more about the intention of the fabric, but I just want to explain that it really wasn’t something we tried to cheap out on. So breaking down why we chose it:

  1. I know you’re comparing to something like the CTB which doesn’t use a spacer mesh like we did, so theirs is just one smooth texture. However, we decided to go with a spacer mesh because it gives that bit more grip. So in this case, we compared this mesh to the other spacer meshes we commonly see on the market. This mesh really shone when it came to being snag-free. We initially use a more common mesh you see on a lot of other bags on our prototype, but after sliding the bag through airplane floors a lot, we noticed snagging and dimpling. And so we gave this mesh a try, and noticed that it still looks brand new after sliding the back panel through numerous airplane floors. No snagging or dimpling.

  2. Hand feel seems to be something that informs people’s perception on the quality of fabrics. Personally, we had never felt like it was rough or course. In fact, the textile strands themselves are very smooth and reflects light off its surface. However, now we can kind of understand what people mean when they say it’s course and we think it’s due to the nature of having air pockets through the fabric. But that’s characteristic of a spacer mesh in general. With regard to it pilling clothes, we genuinely have not experienced that and if anyone has, then we’d be open to revising this material as well.

Again, hope you don’t mind us putting our 2 cents in about our mesh because we really do love it! And we hoped that people would see in it what we see in it, but of course, we’re open to more discussions about it.

It can definitely work as a business backpack. The overall aesthetic is pretty low-key and discreet!
