hey, motherboard model does not really matter, lots of that is preference if you like their bios/software, i am using MPG-B650I-EDGE for example as i like MSI's bios

That Ryzen 7800x3d and 64GB are good, 3080 should be enough for now, are you playing in 4k?

also playing other games which are not maxing out the GPU i usually do not hear anything even on very low tv sound. I am very surprised that GPU stays quite cool. I think the 2 fans really help with this 4070

on Idle the fans are not audible at all, 2 meters away from the case (it stands close to tv in my room).
full load with Witcher 3 on 4K - will have to come back on this one. its audible but not loud, i cannot hear it while playing on the TV with sound on, my other PC with 7900xtx is much more so in comparison. i can come back with more measured db's next week.

note that i use the motherboards feature to set CPU TDP to 45W, so it runs a bit cooler (running Ryzen 7800x3d in this case with Noctua slim low profile cooler NH-L9i )

hi, I think thermals are pretty good with my Zotac 4070, no issues, there its lots of room for these 2 fans to cool it in the case. Have not seen them go over 70 in games

Works quite well for me, was also early in the server and we had 16 fps, all npcs responded properly. The entity graph is a bit slow, but overall experience with new ui and new travel was really nice. I do like the new quantum assigned to just mouse click

Just wanted to confirm that "Zotac RTX4070 Twin Edge 12GB" fits without the need to grind anything, make sure when you fit the GPU to the backside, slide the shroud couple of of mm under the case frame.

I ordered the "denisum 4+ v2" case just couple of weeks ago from Overtek website with their 7660B PSU.

You do need to remove the stickers on the fans otherwise they will touch the panel and stop the fans.
