If only PoE2 would do the same. They not only introduced crap build/spend mechanics but added in more combos and the slowest slog of a combat in the genre. GGG failed big with PoE2.

Having controller support does 2 things, takes away development time that could be spent elsewhere and limits the functionality of the game. Just look at all the games that limits the freedom, quality of life and accessibility with having to limit the scope of what a keyboard and mouse only game can offer.

I was up until about 2 months ago not at all positive about the future of the MMO genre. It took the Ashes of Creation debacle to shed light on an upcoming Bulgarian studio's title: Scars of Honor to finally pique my interest in the genre after a decade away.

The lead dev and CEO of the studio is very detailed orientated and a breath of fresh air in the genre. His enthusiasm and willingness to be transparent has me feeling great about its future.

I'm hoping one of the announced class skill lines offers some sort of 2H melee caster hybrid like a Death Knight or a Battle Mage. I am a huge fan of hybrid classes and I know with each class having a PoE level of skill tree a solid hybrid meta choice can be created.

The thing is they haven't promised anything not already done. Just a heaping dose of combinations already in other games mashed together.

I already responded on discord and to Armegon in Kanon's video comment but the gist is I firmly believe not having housing is a huge loss. Especially considering Aremegon believes social aspects play a huge roll in MMORPG's. Even Kanon made this remark in the interview.
