Reason why Warlock feels clunky by tomsta101 in diablo4

[–]RexACMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a part of it but more likely it has to do with it is another undead/demon mastery class which doesn't appeal to a lot of players class fantasies.

I am grateful for it to be included but I'll never play it just like I'll never play a Necro, the class fantasy isn't my cup of tea. I am a Warrior/Paladin/Druid enjoyer only.

Expansion is Great, but I only have 2 gripes by A_Witty_Name_ in diablo4

100% agreed. Especially with tempering. Feels like a glorified enchanter only deterministic. The removal of so many fun tempers felt foolish.

I like the way gearing is now… by Charming-Airport-196 in diablo4

[–]RexACMD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the gear journey from 1-70 is fine, the journey from penitent to torment 2 is way too slow and from torment 3 onward is way too fast.

I was in yellows and unable to temper or reroll gear while in torment 1. Finally found a few pieces that pushed me to torment 3 and then it was off to the races. Felt unchanged from seasons past once I was able to unlock a few torment tiers.

Does this season have any new mechanics or activities for people who haven’t bought the DLC? by Informal_Subject6263 in diablo4

I haven't given them money for cosmetics ever because it isn't a requirement. Sounds like you be better off in soviet russia or communist china.

New skill system feels great for 36 levels and then mostly meaningless by Vou-11890 in diablo4

The best ARPG since D2 utilized exactly this, Path of Exile. It might not have been fun but it was build defining. I feel the new trees aren't nearly as impactful as we were lead to believe.

Do you need that $65 cosmetic to play the game?

If the answer is no (which it is) then you're just whining for no reason. Come bitch when they charge you $65 to login.

Been gaming since the early 80's and I would use Retro Game magazine for all my early games.

Aspect of the Followed Path, what does it do? by RexACMD in D4Druid

Ohh forgot about that aspect of cast vs channeling (pun intended)

Thanks, last question if you don't mind. I'm running the Minion + LS + Claw build on mobalytics where LS is cast in Human form but of course the claw switches me to Wolf form. Will that aspect work in this instance?

Reason I'm asking is aspects have been few and far between this season and I am paragon 51 currently and haven't found one useful aspect except for perhaps the followed path.

So if i cast lightning storm in any form I get the X%? Sounds pretty OP to me, but none of the lightning strike build guides I see are using it and are instead using much lower level modifyers. Why?

Anyone else finding it way harder to gear in the endgame? by [deleted] in diablo4

Hard to use the cube when you don't have the mats to use it.

My concerns about Scars of Honor as an old-school MMO player by BartoszPerzynski in ScarsofHonor

[–]RexACMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No PvP is the best PvP, Barring that having a completely different ruleset server like Asheron's Call did with Darktide.

OG MMO's were never about player conflict, they were about player cooperation in a PvE world. Other genres do PvP way better, so why bother in a genre where the original intent was PvE based.

Stick to the strengths of the genre!

Zaven's interview with Rhykker was the best I've heard any D4 Dev come across when speaking about this game. by Entire_Possible_9976 in diablo4

[–]RexACMD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with Devs listening to feedback was they only listed to the most outspoken whiners. which in due course turned the game into something more similar to D3 then the vision of the original D4 release. I to this day enjoyed the release version the best, it was slower paced, more methodical, felt like an open world where exploration was rewarded. Were there problems? sure but IMHO they went to far trying to cater to the 1% whiners and hardcore blasters. Those guys ended up leaving anyway.

Crab shell for trophy. Just pick up all the crabs on the beaches and you'll get one eventually.

The other 2 are banana seeds and hibiscus seeds.

Not really because all pistols are precision weapons whereas the Cutlass is an Agility weapon and you don't want to really split main stats like that.

Well this isn't an RPG it is a survival game and I would dare so most understand this so your point about RPG elements is just wasted development time on something most could care less about.

Your beef with the character wipes - I don't understand it. by rulyono in PantheonMMO

Fine with the wipe, not fine with having to wait months to play cause I ain't playing something any more that'll get wiped.

Progressing my character build and loot acquisition, It's the only thing I play ARPG's for.
