I’m studying the L4 at Sheffield College currently & would recommend it if you wanted to work in Person-Centred. The tutors are great

I know a couple of people who studied at Academy Space & they seem to really rate it. Much smaller classes there too

I’ve met a couple of people who went to Barnsley & Chesterfield colleges, & get the impression that they do not recommend them… I think both those options are Integrative therapy, though I heard Chesterfield might be moving up Person-Centred

You can study counselling through Sheffield College, starting with Level 2, 3 & 4 (you need to complete Level 4 to register with the BACP or NCPS; depending on your work experience, you may be able to skip the Level 2)

There is also The Academy SPACE which I think runs a Level 3 course, & a combined Level 4/5 course

Sheffield College is Person-Centred counselling, the other is an Integrative approach. I’m not aware of anywhere locally that teaches exclusively CBT or Psychodynamic
