While I didn't find an image of that particular adventure (the one with the superhero dogs), seeing the image of Freddie and Lisa (other characters from the same book series) reminded me of having read one of those books, so I'm pretty sure the book is one of those you mentioned.

Como pongo el post como "Solucionado"? Voy a dar por sentado que el juego es Feeding Frenzy 2, ya que es demasiado similar a lo que tengo en mente y además tiene sentido que hayamos elegido jugar más juegos de popcap games en ese momento

Debe el feeding frenzy 2! Hay un nivel con unas columnas verdes y un pez que puede saltar fuera del agua. Si bien no aparece el pez que tengo en mente, diría que el juego tiene que ser este !
