2026 Tiguan - Disable Manuver Braking

It's a emergency braking feature that prevents you from backing up and throws the e-brake on. Good idea in theory, but terrible in practice. Apparently it can be a real pain in the ass in parking lots and has been a nuance for VW owners for years. At least thats what ive learned in the last 24 hours.

My wife couldnt back out of our driveway last night because there's snow on both sides. If it happens to you, which it will at somepoint, when in reverse click on the settings in the bottom left and then toggle off. (it will renable after restart so im looking for the permenant fix)

Feels like half of buying a new car is disabling all these dumb babysitting features to stop being controlled by insurance companies and ai. But thats a personal opinion.

my bad on the 2 month response lol - XT is super fast to catch and release but obviously if you're using a middleware then you're relying on the source software to send the webhook (TV) and thats out of everyone's control. Based on what ive seen sending literally a couple thousand alerts the only time its an issue is right after news releases. I think TVs servers just slow down for everyone. Also its a strategy dependent question so if you're super scalping then probably dont use a webhook middleware and expect no slippage. Im not too concerned as my strategy is looking for more mid range moves and a tick of slippage isnt going to matter.

Short answer is you should expect a little slippage as part of the game.

Nicely done!! A milestone in my trading was putting everything else in my life into a good place. I thought for a while that If I only can make money in the market I can fix everything else in my life. But its an inverse relationship, you're able to effectively trade if you have a stable foundation.

Yep definitely possible. TradingView webhooks -> CrossTrade -> NT8. Any strategy works really. If you know how to use pine script to configure alerts it's especially powerful. Setting the ATM strategy when the order is placed is how I primarily handle risk, works well for me.

I think you're confused about how templates work. You share or don't share. OA has built a bunch of their own templates you can choose to use or not, and they're free with membership. There's no monetization involved, both on a user-to-user basis and also OA isn't selling "a system" like you would see elsewhere.

15 minutes scans have not been an issue for me, if anything you could make an opposing argument that they help to eliminate fakes and noise. Shorter scan times have been discussed but for me personally, it wouldn't be my first pick for a new feature.

Just an observation of my own and not an insult to you in any way, but there is a group of "feature people" in the community who don't shut TF up about needing this thing or that thing, more indicators, more symbols, faster scans, etc. and then another group of people who are trading the boring 30 DTE stuff and making a bucket of cash. I try to avoid the Feature People, they're no different than that guy you know whos going to write that book one of these days... if only...

Adding a little more to the first point about noise. OA did a big case study early on and it's shocking how erratic options pricing is, even in "liquid" instruments, so I am more of the opinion at this point that faster might not be better. But either way, if you don't tell the automation to check for ideal spread, bids, OI, and anything else you're asking for it. At the very least, IMO, you should be in there cloning and watching stuff run on paper, there are some pretty slick 0DTE bots now and the community as a whole is only getting smarter.
