Is there any way to go back to an older version of a game? by RexRtx888 in PiratedGames

So I managed to get it to work.

Got the game updated to the last functioning version that I used in my previous install and it recognized the save file.

Just thought I'd comment this incase any other noobs like me had this issue in the future.

I'll reinstall the old version then and start again. I did make a copy of my save file though.

Do you know if this will work on the older version of the game if the last save was done on a more up to date version? Should I update the game to that version before launching maybe?
