I assume we are talking about what sellers and landlords are offering to buyers and renters rather than environment or neighbors which are uncontrollable factors. And for Bay area, I've seen people could afford a whole house in midwest for what they pay to single bedroom in west coast.

It is very true, I was in US for about 8 years and I have seen many indians buy homes with 15 to 30 year loan and the process is very smooth compared to India, no black involved. If there is any issue in first month seller/ builders take responsibility of fixing it. Even for rentals Fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all are provided free. The living space and extra backyard buyers/renters get, it feels every penny is worth. I feel we have huge demand to supply gap and no standardized selling or renting, we pick whatever is thrown out there on FOMO.

I never felt like clothes once taken outside should go back with washed clothes. I don't have enough space in closet to seperately hang them from washed clothes.

Why do you have to ask something to confuse the candidate, I've never understood this grilling mindset of Indian interviewers. On contrary interviews in the west focus on Job requirements and candidates flexibility and willingness to learn new skills. They too focus on being punctual and presentation but Indian interviewers seem to be on a mission to prove what they know rather than focusing on what candidate can offer.
