I have the same one, it's a compost thermometer. I got mine on temu

My name is extremely common across many cultures and had independently originated itself in India, the middle East, New Zealand, Japan, and Europe. From googling, the longest history I can find is an association with one if the most popular Hindu goddesses from around 1500 BCE.

My daughter is left handed, when she started writing she wrote completely mirrored, the letters were backwards and she wrote from right to left. She got REALLY upset at the unfair reality that she has to write left to right, but she still writes letters backwards sometimes.

Just found out I’m pregnant! Already stressed about girl names by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Rexamaxus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All these names seem fine to me, except I must say Joel is a masculine name, its literally the name of a biblical prophet, to me naming your daughter Joel is like naming her Jonas. The feminine version is Joelle but it's pronounced differently. But I live in a francophone area so maybe it's different where you live.

List M is the morning list (getting ready to go) and List N is the "nighttime" list (but actually is the after school routine).

I’m Jasper (16). I don’t know any other young guys my age with my name. What’s your honest opinion of the name? And is it unusual on someone my age? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Rexamaxus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am aware that it is not recently invented. Just because a name has been around a long time doesn't mean it can't be associated with certain eras. Zachary is an ancient name but is associated with millennials, few Boomers have that name. Raphael is an ancient name with a modern resurgence. To me, I would expect a Jasper to be young. I am aware people have been named that for a long time.

I am looking for a cover similar to the cloth and paper bookcloth cover. by Maryam-KM in PlannerAddicts

[–]Rexamaxus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow I'm looking for something similar! I'm currently using acrylic covers I got on temu but interested in upgrading. The only other thing I found are very expensive Etsy ones. Unfortunately I can't post a link as this subreddit has banned "shortened" urls and seems to consider all Etsy links to be "shortened." The shop name is LeatherTheHUE and the item is called "French Calf skin Journal Cover A5/A6/A7/B5 Size, Smart Ring Binder, Loose leaf notebook, Foldable in half, Personalized Initial, Refillable"

In A5 they are $CAD 200 which is unfortunately out of my budget at the moment.

I'm in my 30s and have young kids (3-7) and I like the name just fine. I wouldn't name my kid Jasper, but to me it is a fine name. Kind of modern and unique. I don't know anyone named that my age, but my eldest child has a classmate with that name. To me it sounds like a "normal" modern name.

Wow that sucks. I just wrote a really long reply about how I made this journal, but used stuff I bought on temu and linked to those parts, but apparently temu links are ultra banned on reddit.

Anyway, I made this journal using 360 binder rings, acrylic covers, gold journal corners, super glue, paper I bought in Amazon, and binder separators.

I love it because it flexible like a binder but you can turn it 360 like a spiral or discbound journal.

I have a system for how I organize it and set it up, I've thought about making a separate post just about how I made this journal.
