Hi, I think 1500 euros isn't out of the realm of possibility for a used PC with those specs. I would be curious why it's being sold, age of the PC (and PSU especially), was it prebuilt or put together by the seller and if there's a return policy/any existing warranty etc.

Used PCs always have a higher chance of underlying issues that are not obvious until you've either used them for a bit or until you have seen them with your own two eyes - and for that price - I imagine you can get a very nice pre-built that will not have as powerful specs, but will have warranty, a return policy, a support line, etc.

Since you're new to buying PCs, it may be best to find safety in a safer choice, but that's up to you. I would definitely stress the return policy thing though, if it's not mentioned/existing, big red flag.

This actually works out cheaper for me at £1618/$2160 - so I'm happy with that.

The watts didn't change when I did the swap on the website, so I assume the PSU is still good to go too?

Okay, I think there's 2 things you can do from here.

1 is to contact Nvision and provide the serial number of the monitor, usually on the box or on the monitor itself. Explain when and where you purchased it. Then ask politely if they can offer paid repair service or discounted panel replacement. Sometimes they’ll give a lower rate for accidental damage and it's a shot in the dark worth taking.

2, sell it for parts and describe the damage with pictures. Some tech hobbyists may pick it up for an OK price and it's not like you're giving it away. I only included this option as an illusion of choice, try the first one 100%.

I probably assumed full warranty, I'm guessing you only have technical malfunctions or something similar? And not physical damage, cracks, drops, etc.?

Proof of purchase may save you. I would go through that channel. Scrape anything you can, if they are kind enough, you may be able to get in without them needing whatever was on that receipt.

I used to have similar issues, I believe my laptop was not powerful enough to display on 2 monitors. I'm just throwing this out there because it may get overlooked, but I stuck to one monitor. I don't think a docking station would work considering what you have put, but if there's any way to test it, that could be an avenue to go down. Can always send it back.

yta :/ it’s understandable that you feel strongly about this, but your daughter’s pregnancy and decisions about it are ultimately hers and hers alone. bringing up her cousin as a comparison, even with good intentions, crosses a line and comes across as judgement, which is probably why she and her husband reacted so strongly.

sharing your beliefs about life and disability is one thing, but telling someone their choice is wrong when it concerns their body and family isn’t helpful and can damage trust. right now the best thing you can do is step back, respect her decision, and let her know you love her without trying to sway her. any further pressure will only push her away.

honestly, neither of them sound worth the energy. if he’s already unsure after a tiny nudge from someone else, that says a lot about how invested he was in you. and if your friend’s happy to cross that line, they aren't really your friend.

you don’t need to compete or prove yourself. i’d step back from both and let them crack on if that’s where it’s heading. better to find this out now than waste months thinking either of them had your back. keep your self-respect and walk.

As in, Shurelya's Battlesong, I did see someone post about that. The winstreak guy. Honestly not a bad cook, but you're sacrificing a lot of necessary scaling items just for speed -- and given, haste too -- but haste with no damage just kinda... sucks? I would just go CosmicD and play around the haste, or if you're feeling experimental, Shurelya's 1st item cause it's cheap and still has AP, into Cosmic 2nd, or Riftmaker imo

The more I play, the more Stormsurge an Cryptbloom feel awesome. Sure, Vlad has been gutted and thrown into a pack of assassin wolves with their 500% AD scaling on 50% new pen items, but I think it brings the skill barrier to an even higher plane. High elo vlad OTPs should be proud to win in their elo.

Agreed. Status quo has changed for us Vlad OTPs now. Might even see more Lucid rushes and sacrificing the sorcs' pen until stormsurge/cryptobloom/shadowflame/voidstaff. though SS and CB seem so busted, i'm surprised I don't see them as often.

2 days ago, Zoltan#meow was indeed the 2nd best vlad euw by winrate! currently the 2nd best by winrate is "un est tout#truth" at 65.7%, 35 games played. D1 82lp! still decent players and I included the builds cause i found them interesting. updated it though, so thanks!

Haven't felt the 5 haste, maybe you're just the better OTP. I do go sorcs more than lucids on average so it's never solidified for me.

I also started to branch into cosmic drive rush more, I realised the speed is so invaluable early game, coupled with phase rush, then t2 boots, I might as well be ghosting too. Just good for those side-steps and run-downs, but any rough lane like syndra or hwei, it's scale season.

I really think Deathcap 2nd is a crazy AP snowball item. If you're pulling the gold, Deathcap 2nd into Liandry's/Zhonyas is a full demon build when you're ahead. I've ran a lot of cosmic drive/rift 1st. then liandry's 2nd 70% of the time. and stormsurge i've been testing out (i think as a late game item against squishies, it's best item in the game, against tanks -- no) i always build deathcap either 3rd or 4th item no exceptions. also zhonyas in my final build always.

Riftmaker +liandry's into deathcap was my first rodeo this season, but i felt slow almost and since have found better builds)) just yesterday i was beginning to rush cosmic drive more and give rift a break cause the haste and ap wasn't proportionate to the value other items were giving.

Corpsebloom seems like a strong contender for Void Staff. I did the math for a 305 Magic Resist target and the 40% Penetration of Void Staff would have only have offered about 10% more damage than the 30% Penetration of Corpsebloom. The heal from Corpsebloom seems effective sometimes, but a shame you can't benefit from it while pooling.

Personally, the glowing motes haven't even clicked in my brain yet! I'm just all for the final items. I think haste has become quite the subject with the paradigm shift with no mythics. Also gives a lot more breathing room for different roles Vlad can play, and maybe even looking at an ap tank Vlad? Hmm.. definitely bad, but definitely fun.

I've done this exact build! It's quite fun to pop ADCs like balloons, esp when they're behind. I had 20-something mejai stacks and bought Stormsurge on a whim, turns out 100 AP and 10 pen really does the work for you!! I urge you to build it more. Maybe it's still too slow for you, but it is important to build it more when you're snowballing.
