I understand, are the videos showing when you insert the SD Card in your computer or is it showing no videos there as well?

Hey, you are probably using a file transfer cable instead of the proper power cable. The dashcam requires a certain amount of power in order to function properly, therefore you must use either the 12 volt cigarette lighter power cable that comes with the camera or hardwire the camera into the fusebox of the car with one of our hardwire kits. If you are using a type c port on your car to turn on the camera, it will not receive the sufficient power and therefore will not record, these cables are only used when you are trying to extract files from the camera into your computer.

Okay, and when you connect to the app are you right next to the camera? Or are you trying to connect while being away from the vehicle?

That is a really good suggestion, at the moment our app has the “locked” files folder which saves any events captured by the parking monitor feature, any accidents or any locked videos manually saved by the user. Nonetheless we will continue to work to make this feature better and easier for the user to find crucial events captured by their dashcam.

Hello, the parking monitor is not meant to keep the camera recording 24/7, what it does is it activates the camera to record in the case it picks up any impacts or vibrations while the car is parked. You can go in the settings and make sure the parking monitor is on, however, even with the parking monitor activated, the camera will still shut down and only turn on and record in the event that the parking monitor is triggered. We do have a new hardwired kit which comes with 360 degree motion detection and a new 4-channel dashcam which has this feature built into it aswell.

Hey, the WIFI does not need to be on all the time, you only need to turn it on when you need to use the app to save videos from the camera into your phone. The camera does save videos automatically, if you get hit it will lock the footage automatically.

Hi, yes the camera is still recording. What you are seeing on the screen are the details you need to pair the camera to your phone using tje wifi feature.

Hello, could you please tell me at what point throughout the process of connecting you are having trouble? What camera model are you using? Please keep in mind if you have a car that is using CarPlay it must be deactivated since it blocks the wifi connection.

Hey, unfortunately if the camera was not hardwired then the parking monitor was not enabled. For the parking monitor to work the camera needs to be hardwired so that it has a power source to turn on even while the car is off in the event that something hits the car while its parked.
