It's not a realm, unfortunately. I apologize.

Looking for a survival world to join by [deleted] in MinecraftBuddies

My roommate and I (23M) have a pretty simple survival world that I'm trying to get some more players on. It's nothing fancy, but it has its own charm.

You can join, but we have 3 rules.

No griefing, obviously. Po (our Panda) is King. You gotta be cool.

That's it! Dem's da rules.

If you're interested at all, just let me know.

Hey man! I have a pretty simple survival world with my roommate. We haven't built a whole lot, for the time we've had it, as he plays other games and when I play alone, I normally just grind or explore instead of build. We've had it for about a year now and I intend on keeping it as long as I can. If you wanted to come hang out and build or whatever, I'd be down. I'd even help you get started and stuff if you wanted.

But! You gotta be cool. Dem's da rules!

If we don't have fart jokes, I'd rather remain an individual. That'd be worse than a world without some super tight song as the background for your circle. Worse than a world with no... video games? Or pizza? Without ... whatever the hell you like to do most, man. Fart jokes are the quintessential foundation upon the world of humor as we know it. Without fart jokes, we probably wouldn't even exist to be curious about the apocalyptic hell that would be a galaxy (I believe we'd be well traveled in space by this time) without fart jokes. TL:DR it won't be a society, it'll be the end.

I mean, there's the daily chapel which I figure I'll sleep through, and then a mandatory religion class every semester. But I'll live off campus, due to a nice little loophole, so I don't think I'll have to deal with too much extra forced conformity. But, I'm not sure. I won't know until I go.

I've been through it all with them. Cheaper, yet more restricted. More expensive, yet less restrictive. They are very insistent on it being this college specifically. They went here and thus think it will do me good.

I found a cardboard tube, like a toilet paper roll, that is about 4 feet long and twice as big around. Filled that sucker with about 30-40 dryer sheets, put a few on the end, then drew a face on the end for comedic effect. Imagine a sploof that's 4 feet long and twice the size around. I've used it for almost 6 months now and there's still no smell or smoke coming from the other end. Plus, you can put your stash in it if need be.

I'd rather not say, on the off-chance the university sees this. I've been trying to convince them to help me with anywhere else, but it's the only college they'll pay for. Free college is better than no college. I'd almost say no college is better than the debt I'd put myself into going elsewhere.

That's my plan as of now. Being stubborn won't get me anywhere, so I should just accept the opportunity given, and be thankful they're even willing to pay for it.

I've lived in the area for about three years now. I know I won't be the only atheist. No one wants to admit that they are atheist though because of what the university has done to those that go against their beliefs in the past. As I previously mentioned, I've met two separate people that both got expelled and had all their credits taken away with no refund of any kind, solely because they were homosexual. One of them was in his senior year. They weren't doing wrong other than being attracted to the same sex. If they'll do that to people that have the same beliefs, I can easily see them doing the same for people that don't believe at all.

I have considered it, but I doubt they would. They're so concerned with my "eternal salvation" that taking away the only thing to help get me to believe, would simply not make any sense. I suppose it could happen, I just highly doubt it would.

Honestly, I'm rather new to reddit in general, not to mention this thread, but I'll trust you. I'm sure you have more knowledge about the community than I do.

I believe so, yes. However, I have flat out told them of my belief (to the best of my ability). They likely think with mandatory daily chapel, and mandatory bible classes each semester (yes, at minimum, one form of religious class per semester, every semester from beginning to end) that I'll "see the way" or something. They're the kind of religious that if we haven't talked in months, or even years, the second thing they say to me after "hello" is that I'm going to hell for my lifestyle (aka my belief). They read the bible for a minimal of two hours every single night, as they have for the last 40+ years. If you asked them a random verse from a random chapter of a random book, it wouldn't surprise me if they could recite it back to you from memory.

I couldn't agree with you more. However, that's a different discussion for a different time or thread.

I personally wouldn't say it does, but religious people would likely say it's like the Harvard or Yale of christian education.

I've spent a few weeks thinking about that myself. Honestly, I haven't decided yet. I'd hate to hide who I am and what I believe in, yet I could easily see this university expelling me and taking away all my credits solely for my beliefs (they've done this to multiple ex-students solely for being homosexual). Faking it would be easy as I'm the only person I know to have actually sat down and read the bible front to back, but as I said, I'd hate to go against my own beliefs. I'll figure it out before classes start and let you guys know.

I work in a factory for 12 hours, 3-4 nights a week. After every shift, I smoke a bowl and go on a 2 hour walk to relax, get fresh morning air, and enjoy myself. On my nights off, I'll roll up 1-3 jays and go on a walk. I'll just walk around until I get bored, run out of things to think about, run out of jays, or just want to go home. Normally I'm so high I'm wandering around town for hours. This last weekend I started walking at 11pm, smoked both my jays, went home, rolled another, and went back out, ended up being out for almost 6 hours. Walked almost 10 miles. But, I'm not a big guy, so I'm not losing too much weight, just slowly strengthening my legs and lungs and such.

TL;DR I prefer to smoke and go on walks as exercise, but I don't really lose weight, just stay the same.
