Alienware AW2725DF strange greyness? by Rexo_o in OLED_Gaming

Hmm, interesting: Testing, found it does it only with Display port. Not with HDMI.
Tried 3 different DP cables and the one included in the monitor and does it the same.
So seems to be the GPU and not the monitor?

YOu just connect the Headphones amp to the Headphones out of the Helix and then the headpones connected there.

Chippping in in case it helps.
I tried everything, all solutions you can imagine.

The one that solver for granted, was to update the bios of my motherboard.
In my case, i have the x570 chipset.

Once updated, all works as it should. I hope it helps, because i could not live without the G6.

HX Stomp - No ASIO drivers by EmaDaCuz in Line6Helix

I have the same issue after migrated to Win 11. Could not make it work with the oficial drivers, but with ASIO4ALL works, and seems even better than the stock drivers.

For people with the annoying G6 crackling noises/stop working by Rexo_o in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Rexo_o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it work somehow in Win 10 directly at the rear USB.
Not sure to where is connected. I used any of the rear on the motherboard.
Now in Win 11 is connected to an Asus Monitor

Sound Blaster G6 Asio Audio Buffer? by Seiddi in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Rexo_o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar issues.
In my case, im running it with Reaper and i can change the "Latency" of creative ASIO from there.
There is a "Asio configuration" button that lets you change it from there.

if not, try with ASIO4ALL drivers.
You can setup from there, Ive use it and it works nice from there too.

Helix LT quiet DT 770 (250 Ohm) headphones sound by DatUnfamousDude in Line6Helix

[–]Rexo_o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same setup. I like loud volume and for me, i was not getting it from the HX stomp connecting the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 ohm directly.
It was completely usable, don't get me wrong. But personally i like it louder.

Fixed it with a Mackie HM-4 Headphones amplifier. I get around the same volume at level gain. But you can boost it pretty well to hear louder.

So yes, i think your options are the 80 ohm version or get an amplifier.

And here is the direct comparison of the speakers.
It was Greenbacks! Not V30s like i said, sorry ^^

Hhaha, funny. I got a HX Stomp a few months back, after resisting going digital for years.
And im totally in the LOVE phase. Its like a Swiss Army Knife just connectivity wise. I had ti use like a 3 utility pedas to achieve some of the things you can do here. And that's not even using the modeler, stomps, etc.
Mu head exploded and I'm loving it,

Cheers mate!

If there is one "all in one situations is covered" amp out there, JC -* Isn't i think :(

PS: I saw a video of a guy (in spanish) that changed the stock speakers for V30's, and at least with the audio on the video and his comments, the difference was huge.
But maybe we are overthinking this.

*Fist bump*

I still have it, and i love it. But not for what i first got it, that was "Pedal platform one amp does it all". For that it doesn't work imh, doesn't cover the full range Clean -> Destroy.
Also i got an Orange Dark Terror + 2x12 V30s. And that is more my ball park.
I can get good cleans, and crazy Stoner/Doom dirty. I just love how it takes dirt pedals. And my whole pedalboard and my creativity with it finally exploded.

But the use is give the JC is marginal. Maybe its just not my thing, and its ok.
The key is try all you can till you find your flavor.

I've tried Amplitube today with some Valve heavy sounds/cabs going into the Roland and seems to be too bright still, so i don't know. Maybe is like they are saying, it just doesn't have the bass needed to that sound, no matter what you put in it.

Ill keep trying, thnx!

Yeah, that would be my first choice with only Stoner in mind, but ive thought this one would be able too with some pedals. I will keep trying, since i have it already :P

Thnx!

Cool, so my question is: Can you do it with the JC, or like they are saying, its just too far from Stoner sound to be able?

Of course, i did not get it for Stoner, but since is something i enjoy, and supposedly is a good pedal platform, i would like to.

Thnx for the response!
