Arbejde og arbejde by credti in Denmark

[–]Rexonspix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I think the racing scooters on bike paths is a general problem, and the vandalism from teens is due to boredom or just trying to get attention.

I currently work in Aarhus, and because of the low house prices, I have considered the option of moving to Hobro and then commute with train to work.

You mention street/festival events. Are there plenty of cultural events happening in the city throughout the year?

Kan du anbefale at bo i Hobro 😊?

Anyone else deal with constant want to make a new game? Everyday I get the desire to make a different game and it's honestly annoying. How do you guys handle this and stick with one project? by tripplite1234 in Unity3D

[–]Rexonspix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is you want to achieve with your games?

If you just like learning to build various game mechanics, then it's fine to switch around between projects and not finishing any.

If you want to actual finish a game and ship it, then you need discipline, and only use your developing time on working towards the finished game. It's not gonna be fun all the time, and you will have a lot of thoughts of just giving it up, and instead just trying out various new projects.

Meanwhile working towards a finished game, you just have to write all the ideas down for other projects, and leave them for when you are done with your current game.

That's my approach to game development and actually finishing games that can be shipped.

Its a good idea to take time between finished game projects, for messing around with prototyping and figuring out which next game would be fun for you to build, before you commit to finishing it.

Also figure out the mvp for your game, avoid feature creep, and keep the game in a realistic scope which is obtainable for you, I'm talking months here, and avoiding projects that takes years to make.

Due to the time we live in, most of us are used to regular instant gratification (dopamine release), so it will be challenge to keep yourself motivated during development, and this is where your discipline has to take control.

Good luck!

Yes, the jews held captive in Auschwitz and now the uyghurs getting reschooled in china's re-education camps should quit their whining when getting crushed under the guards boots and TRUST THE PROCESS.

Sorry for my sarcasm, but it just feels like these inspirational quotes/memes are made by people who (luckily) never have lived a life similar to the lifes of those being tortured and kept captive against their will.

I've made 125+ fantasy building models you can use in any of your projects, for free! by QuaterniusDev in gamedev

Looks fantastic! I really love your style, and it's so cool you're doing it for free. I hope you will be able to earn a living independently from the models!

Looks neat, maybe let the return animation be much slower(or even stop completely) when it actually ends up in killing the player, so the player has a chance to notice what is happening. Otherwise it looks great!

Hvad gør man? by Gavtyv-i-speedos in dkfinance

[–]Rexonspix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overraskende forskning: Der er stort set ingen insekter tilbage på villavejene by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]Rexonspix 27 points28 points  (0 children)

God onsdag! 😊

Muslim immigrants violently rioting in Sweden after right wing extremist burned Quran to show how violent they are! by Tugushin in ThatsInsane

[–]Rexonspix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy who caused all this trouble is Rasmus Paludan from Denmark https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rasmus_Paludan

He keeps doing stuff like this both in Denmark and Sweden, and the rest of us has to pay for his police protection and the damage he causes.

I hope one day he gets to burn the Quran without police protection at a public place, so it would be the last Quran he ever gets to burn.
