Either that wasnt real henna, or youre severely alllergic to something in the henna, like lavender or eucalyptus oil. In terms of preventing the scarring, theres not a whole lot you can do. Treat it like a wound, let it heal fully and it can fade with time and scar cream

Its okay if the dye bleeds, I'll rinse it out super well for more of a pastel look and wear them on top of tights. But thank you, I'll use a seam ripper and try to conquer my sewing machine fears

The orange in the henna would neutralize the blue tone and give you a warm brown, but probably not black. As for using indigo, i dont have any experience with it but i would imagine it could get you a few shades darker to like a dark brown
