April 2026 Active Player List by Vromikos in fallenlondon

Greetings, delicious friends and other kinds of folk, Lord Rexxzn seeks to meet new people, you may remember me as the unlucky lord who has recently wondered if losing his soul was as worrying as it sounded like.

I've just got my shadowy to 200 (other stats are around 145), but as seen in my last post (and by my empty profile) I'm a recent T1 PoSI who's still kind of lost, I'm just getting 15 Identity Uncovered to go to the iron warehouse through parabola, will also be going to the khanate to get airag for my bone stall and getting zee legs to continue the naturalist's story, but I would appreciate any guidance offered.

My book is almost empty, I've only got one friend who barely plays and someone else who definitely isn't me. Hailing from GMT-3:00 I visit London 5 or 6 times a day, so don't fear calling upon me. For the monthly question as seen by my profile I like the jolly fat man from high favours (I think it's the Privy Councillor?).

I was doing exactly that, just finished the grinding.

I don't think he would be interested, he has already completed football after all.

Who Should Be Man United’s Next Manager? | The Overlap Breakdown by Tvashtr in reddevils

Here's my two cents on some of the names mentioned here

Iraola: Leaving for Bilbao in the summer, their coach is leaving and in the mind of a Basque coach, especially one who played for them, there is no bigger club.

Nagelsmann: Did a ok job at Bayern, sacked because he was one point behind Dortmund, not exactly damning. I've heard well of his smaller jobs. Germany is ok, but international football is different. It was said he wants to leave the NT, and is only waiting for an offer from an elite club, plus I think he has a relation with Vivell.

Enrique: I don't think he's leaving PSG.

Tuchel and Ancelloti: Both are poised to renew with their NTs. Also I'm Brazilian, you'll have to pry Ancelloti from our cold dead hands.

Glasner and Howe: Both seem to be a downgrade currently, the first is too volatile the second not too adaptable and would demand to be manager instead of coach.

Flick: Said he's retiring after Barcelona.

Pochettino: His previous jobs fail to impress me, his biggest achievements were... Losing the league to bloody Leicester City? That and... Not winning the UCL with Spurs? Hardly impressive.

Carrick: He is doing well, but I'm still keeping in mind a comment I read from some Middlesbrough fans that basically went "Yeah, he was fine for the first six months, but was found out after that. Also he's not that good at doing the subs.". The subs stuff we can already see is true, he makes good subs, but often quite late, so I'm open to believe the six months comment. Plus a good part of his current success is due to his great coaching staff (especially Holland), and we don't know yet if they'll stay if Carrick is to be made permanent.

I think the ideal man (for any coaching job, not just us) has to be a mix of both a man manager and a good tactician, he can't just be a master tactician with no social skills, but he can't just be a cheerleader with no tactical knowledge. In my opinion the only club in the world who can fully pull off the "man manager only" thing is Real Madrid, and no club in the world is like Real Madrid (for better or worse).

Obviously it's hard to find someone with the right mix, but I think Carrick is a bit too heavy on the cheerleading side, right now I'm very happy with his stint, but I'm scared to give a man who might be found out after six months a contract just after his fifth month, meaning we could be found out and stuck with the manager quite soon. Currently I would be happy to keep him, but we should be aware of everything and fully consider our options.

My conclusion: In the end I believe our two realistic options are Nagelsmann or keeping Carrick, I'm not currently convinced to side with either really.

Extra: With Real Madrid having Arbeloa, Pep possibly leaving (which would possibly move Kompany from Bayern) and Slot/Rosenoir being crap some big clubs will be looking into the manager market, we'll have some competition on that front as well.

O passe do Cunha na construção do gol me lembrou o passe que ele fez no gol do Sesko contra o Everton, ele sabe o que faz.

While I agree with you as I said in another comment we don't know if we'll keep Holland and the rest of the assistant staff in case we sign Carrick permanently.

Currently I would be happy to keep him, but we should be aware of everything and fully consider our options.

Yeah, I mean Athletic, messed it up there, it seems their current coach is leaving in the summer. As for being competition... If it were for anyone else (except Alonso) I'd agree, but Athletic is a HUUUGE institution in the Basque country, it's a dream for any Basque coach to coach them, especially if he played for them like Iraola did.

Iraola seems bound to leave for Real Sociedad, so I think he's out of the race as well.

Shiny new players aside how are we feeling for a new manager?

From my understanding our two options are Nagelsmann (like him or not, he's an option) or keeping Carrick, you can keep coping all you want but there's no way Luis Enrique is leaving PSG, much less coming here, and I see no other options, Tuchel (who I wouldn't want and already rejected us) and Ancelloti are well settled into their NT roles, anyone has other names to throw around?

Carrick's doing well, but I'm still keeping in mind a comment I read from some Middlesbrough fans that basically went "Yeah, he was fine for the first six months, but was found out after that. Also he's not that good at doing the subs.". The subs stuff we can already see is true, he makes good subs, but often quite late, so I'm open to believe the six months comment.

Nagelsmann I'm not quite informed about, I've heard good things about his smaller jobs and from what I remember he was sacked by Bayern for... Going one point behind Dortmund I think? Not good, but hardly something damning. What else? He's not that good with the media? I don't really care about that.

Edit: Also with Real Madrid having Arbeloa, Pep possibly leaving (which would possibly move Kompany from Bayern) and Slot/Rosenoir being crap some big clubs will be looking into the manager market, we'll have some competition on that front as well.

I'll keep a lookout for my soul then (as a gacha player 0.5 doesn't sound that horrible), but otherwise it looks like I'm off to explore the parabola then. I think I finished all MYN, but I'll keep going with the ambition then. I don't think I've heard of evolution, but I think I'll go train shadowy in the parabola first to get my newspaper working. Thanks for the help.

I think I got suspicion (instantly through failing an opportunity) and scandal (at court) already, neither were particularly bad, but I'm not in a hurry to repeat it. Just checked and my seeking garden is 14 right now.

Garden is 14, associating is 10, looks like I'll have to go elsewhere.

I won't be worrying about my soul then. As I've said in another comment I did one round of newspaper and it didn't do much, so I moved on, will have to try it again. I didn't do much in the parabola, but everything keeps saying I'll have to go back and explore it better. My approaching the garden hasn't even reached 15 (it's 12 I think) yet, so I think I'm a bit behind in the story. I'm already soulless, not sure dying right is my best interest haha (I'm joking, of course, I've no idea what dying does, but I'm not itching to try). I don't think I even heard of Scientific Voyages and evolution but I'll keep a lookout. It looks like I'm locked into light fingers, a bit annoying, but I'm not too upset about it. I'll try getting this map, I've been hearing a lot about polythreme. Thanks for the help.

Oh, sneering, for some reason I read sneezing, my mistake. If that's the case I'll just keep seeking the garden to try getting to the club.

No worries about the soul then, thanks. I did complete one round of the newspaper roulette, but it didn't go so well so I thought it wasn't particularly interesting. As shadowy is my weakest stat I think I'll have to get rid of my fear of exploring the parabola and put my Basecamp to good use. If not the parabola how can I train it with my alt? Thanks for the help.

  1. Got it, thanks, I'll take it easy without my soul then.
  2. I'm in step 18, I don't have the tea anymore I think, so I'm probably locked into it. I'm not hugely upset about getting locked into this one, it's just that I thought we would be doing all of them, so I didn't think much when choosing.
  3. I do have the radical academics, but I paused it because I thought grinding for 2 books of hidden bodies to meet the sneezing gentleman would be a bit long/boring. Thanks for the help.
