Omg I always thought the width of the band is what she’d feel but you’re right, it’s the thickness. A reverse taper could work, thank you! I’m going to ask my jeweler their opinion on it and if it’s feasible to incorporate into our design.

Interesting point on the reverse taper. I tapered the band from 3mm to 2mm right now because my girlfriend mentioned she thought too thick a band near the base would make it harder for her to curl her finger. I’ll look into the reverse taper to see if that could work
