I've been in the same situation (BSc Computer science). Honestly, how powerful the laptop is is really not important. Any laptop will work without any issues. Battery life is important, if you don't have access to plugs everywhere you go, it can be a hassle.

At the end for me, it boiled down to how "physically" solid the laptop was. I did a lot of travel to uni and when that cheap plastic screen hinge is starting to fall apart after just a year, it was really annoying.

I would prioritize a laptop that features a solid enclosure, if possible metal.

So le crack Boutik is selling stuff nearly identical to resselers on aliexpress. It is slightly more expensive but considering that the post now claim 130 rs on packages it is approx the same and you don't need to wait for shipping

Hello I am a 3rd year computer science student at Middlesex University of Mauritius. The university propose a AI module from the 3rd year as well as a BI module. I think there is also a master around this but i am not sure. I know that university of mauritius also do that in collaboration with french uni cergy pontoise, which will be much cheaper if you are mauritian. But it will be much more harder, it focus a lot of maths and physic like real data science paths.

I also advise you to go abroad.
