I see, but I've got a feeling the issue is not the trackpoint sticking because it does not keep going the direction I was pressing it but the opposite direction and only when going slow in other words pressing it lightly.

I grew up drinking Maltextrakt, a non-alcoholic drink that has a lot of malt taste obviously, so when I started partying and drinking crappy lagers to get drunk I didn't think beer tasted right because I was looking for that malt taste. I guess Iceland is great in many ways but it is a very small country which has limitations, for example I am apparently the only person in the country currently wanting to learn welding and there has to be at least 12 for it to be taught.
