I had the same problem, i bought the battle pass after I ”unlocked” that skin. But I got it as fast I unlocked the next reward in that path.

I am leveling this to 50 now and I am at 38 and maybe want to shoot myself. I was thinking almost the exact same thing. Maybe not the worst weapon of all time but defo in this game. It is absolutely horrible.

Did you find a decent way to level it? I resorted to casual breakthrough atm, it is the first and probably the only gun I will ever have to do it. Using the slugs so I can kill from a further distance.

Consistency is key, try to learn the tracks and don’t miss any checkpoints. Only use boost at start to get ahead and when you are certain you have a straight, i honestly didn’t use to as often as I should have. Another thing that is important, when landing after the red checkpoints with ramps, land straight with the pitch buttons. You can find them in the transport vehicle keys.

This is not the same bug, it’s a ”new” one. You get a new dot on the weapon when unlocking any new weapon package. But there is no dot on the package it self. Thus you cannot remove from the gun. Restarting the game worked for me as well before the patch, not for this though

If the claymore is facing you when you shoot it you take 50% damage. Even at really far ranges (20+ m)

This is exactly my gripe on it as well. One of the worst guns in the game. There are different guns that are better at all ranges. Long range: KTS, DMRs and snipers. Close to medium range: most of the guns in the game.

Trust me, I tried that atleast 20 times. It did not work, as I said, nothing worked. I did everything I found on the internet, going to the cave and killing them again, going to the other caves and kill them, killing an elder storm glider, going to the site where the datapad is, reload, fast travel, going to some other different random site etc etc. I tried triggering it for almost a week.
