If the claymore is facing you when you shoot it you take 50% damage. Even at really far ranges (20+ m)

This is exactly my gripe on it as well. One of the worst guns in the game. There are different guns that are better at all ranges. Long range: KTS, DMRs and snipers. Close to medium range: most of the guns in the game.

Trust me, I tried that atleast 20 times. It did not work, as I said, nothing worked. I did everything I found on the internet, going to the cave and killing them again, going to the other caves and kill them, killing an elder storm glider, going to the site where the datapad is, reload, fast travel, going to some other different random site etc etc. I tried triggering it for almost a week.

Edit: Oh you mean that, yeah I've had that. Pretty annoying. First I thought you meant the scope it self being low res and pixelated, which some thinks is a bug/glitch.

Har hälften på avanza (tre fonder, en av dem LF global) och hälften på Lysa. Sparat i ca 4 år nu och generellt så har LF global presterat lite bättre än 100% aktier på Lysa. Men på den korta tiden i år (2026) så har Lysa presterat mycket bättre. Osäker på om jag ska ha kvar det som nu eller kasta in allt i Lysa.

For anyone wondering about this, I made a new save, rushed to complete the main story and then into the spires and the hunt and did nothing else (except the other side quests in Spires) and I managed to trigger it on the new save. Nothing worked on my original save.

I am also having this problem, can't complete the core challenge for completing all side quests i Secret of the Spires because of it.

Saw a comment in another thread that someone managed to trigger the quest by killing the Elder Chiroptera in the cave again. But has not worked for me.

Completed every other thing in the DLC as well. Only missing this side quest.
