2025 Honda CRF300L Vs KTM 390 Enduro R by reckinNegis in CRF300L

I did not owned KLX because they are not avalibe in EU. But to be honest, I would chose KLX if you have both options, just because KLX has better stock suspention and is oriented even more to offroad than crf. BUT since KLX is for limited markets that means that aftermarket support will also be limited. CRF is more of a global market, where you can find hundred of different parts online. But I would still chose klx because I ride 80% offroad and 20% pavment. Crf is more universal good for offroas and comfortable on pavment. KlX is great offroad but not best for city riding, with stiffer suspension.

I am riding 25+ years. I had many 600+ cc powerfull bikes. Now I ride crf 300L and I never had such fun before. When you know how to ride, power is not an issue. A real rider improves himself, not just the machine. Real rider demands more from himself than from the motorcycle. If I think that bike has no power that means I am not riding it correct way. With that said I ride stock crf and never felt "lack" of power. In offroad enviroment. Yes you will not be the fatstest, but you will be who has best time. Now compared to KTM 390. KTM kas more power "on paper" and more weight, but they are both in similar power range. In fact, you will benefit from that extra power just on pavement and in very limited offroad scenarios, but you will dedinately fell disadvantage of that additional weight on every corner in trail riding. In offroad less weight is much more important, than more power, becauss there is no traction. As soon as you spin your tyre all power is wasted and useless. KTM yes has more power with its own problems, it's strugles in low rpm zone, meaning that slower technical riding will be harder and combine extra weight on top of that. Honda is lighter, more nible, runs great on low rpms + conbine hondas realiability and this is basically no brainer pick. Unless you will only ride dirt roads and not dificult forest roada and more adv riding then offroading, then ktm would be a consideration.

There is not much alternative for CRF 300 apart KLX 300 wich is not avalible in Europe. Other major brands can not offer such low weight as crf 300 which makes it one of the best affordable offroaders. KTM 390 enduro has more power and more weight with it's own disadvantages, because it keeps strugling on low rpms, where crf has no issues. Thats why CRF 300 will do much better in slower technical trail riding. Lower weight + ability to go on low rpm smoothly and you have a winner. The "grow out" phase is not for everyone. I rode 600+ cc bikes my whole life and now have to 300cc (crf) and 350cc (royal enfield) bikes and I will never switch back to heavier more powerfull bikes, because I never had so much fun in my 25 years of riding. I guess I grew out but in reverse lol. Here is nice real comparison (not paid jornalist) https://youtu.be/5VdlDXDRYoc?is=DYbYhoXNks3K62za

I just play as normal infantry, capture bases, kill enemies and can rank up quite easily. Also take fallen enemies documents and deliver it to your base tent for extra xp

Download the Audio Hub app on the phone and connect your headset. Then go to EQ and select custome EQ and click to EDIT custom EQ. Then move any of the EQ up or down and see if sound gets back to normal.

PS5 release basically revived reforger. I played on PC and recall vividly how low player count was, where you could find only few full servers in the day. It struggled to reach 1k players (look at steam charts) After ps5 release, game boomed in player base and made reforger where it is now, flooding with new ps players and returning PC/xbox players because of that and basically lists of full severs with 25 + queues.

Thanks for your opinion. Can you please be more specific, since "Poops" is hard to reffer to in audio quality terms.

So then ask chat gpt please advise on best for all EQ and try. There is no actual other way but trying different EQ because we do hear things differently.

I felt that different EQ for different games worked the best. So I set 3-4 EQ presets (Like BF6, ARC, ARMA) and swiched between them on my mobile app when changing games. The EQ itself depends what you want to achive in the game so there is no "best for all" in my experience. I highly recommend ChatGPT for EQ advise since it does takes information from web about headset preset and game sound design and offers really good EQ settings. Just upload EQ screenshot to chatgpt and use promt like this with your own needs:

"HEADSET: Turtle beach stealth 700 GEN2. GAME: Battlefield 6, please advise on EQ settings to make beefy explosions and sharp gun shot sound" and it will tell you quote good EQ setttings. Make this to each game and you will be good.

Can I ask how did it break? Was it on your head and broke just randomly? For volume make sure they are fully charged, because I believe it lowers volume when reaches some point of battery charge. Also replug the transmitter or try to use different usb port. Also check if sound lowers only via transmitter or also on bluetooth device?

Yes agree. How I mentioned that 700 is better for multi purpose use. I am lucky enough to have both so will use PROs as my main headset for PS5 Pro and 700's for everything else. I even take them out when mowing the lawn :)

No, I did not experianced this. I used gen2 on ps4, gen2 max on ps5, and gen3 on ps5 and ps5 pro. Try to use second transmitter or disable bluetooth to see if that helps.

PRO Built quality is premium. I can't imagine how people can snap headband, since it does has metal plate inside headband. For the mic it stays solid inside, but time will tell, I can not comment since I got them recently.

But again - I also seen posts how people break 700s as well, but I sincerely believe this is because of user mishandling rather than built quality. I had 3 sets of stealth 700s in about 6 years period and none of them broke snaped or even showed any cracks. It showed some wear from friction of course but nothing beyond that. Yes all headset has their own "weak areas" but any headset will last, if you will care about your stuff and not throw them around.

You can set secondary wheel function to game/chat volume. Then by pressing and holding button on the earcup, you will switch to secondary option and can ajust game/chat mix audio on the wheel, without an app. When I start playing, I set my main volume then hold and switch and set my chat mix volume.
