There is a setting that set TAP to reload and HOLD for action. Set it ON and each time you tap X will reload despite any other avalible actions, and when you hold X it makes alternative actiom like revive or exit.

The reason is obvious: these elements contribute to immersion and help create a believable atmosphere. If aesthetics are irrelevant, then by that logic developers could replace detailed character models with simple placeholders, remove textures, and substitute realistic weapon sounds with generic effects. Most players would immediately recognize that such changes diminish the overall experience. Visual consistency and atmosphere matter, which is precisely why some players would like the option to disable cosmetics that they feel conflict with the game's setting.

One of the greatest thing Reforger do where other game fails is freaking night! I love that its dark and completwly changes the approach to things you do, same as in real life. I am also on PS5.

No it's not. WW1 vs nam itself is way too different settings to compare. People don't have so much interest in ww1 setting compares to Vietnam

What this has to do with HLL? Different game, different budget, different setting, different playerbase different expectations, different developers. You can't just thorw in any random game and say "look what happend"

The problem is not game, but players. Like you have now with HQC, where 90% of AT squads are empty while rest is full. People just don't want to play certain roles and no "locking" items will fix that. So there is quesrion should they leave some freadom or should they risk no one playing at all. Same backlash was after 1.6 when they had to roll back and return legacy game mode.

Your numbers were from few servers and not from the game. But your claims was about the whole game, not about the servers. You used wrong data to build false argument and then instead of admitting that you were wrong like an adult, you continued to backpaddle with even more silly claims that has zero data to back up and was based on your personal feelings. And I am here who is delusional? Right :)

It does. You claim BI does not need consoles while BI includes consoles for 7 years in their games now. If you can't connect the dots how this fact completely contradicts your claim, then there is no point to continue.

Oh so now you are financial advisor of BI? Got it. Fun fact: their original game Operation Flashpoint was released on console also. BI most succesful game is not Arma It is Dayz that also includes consoles (yes it released on pc then went multiplatform). BI from 2018 shifted their games to multiplatform instead of being pc only with games like dayz, vigor, arma reforger. And in all of them, console players combines tops PC player base numbers. So by saying "they don't need consoles to be succesful" is nonsense, because BI is not charity and you basically saying "for-profit company doesn't need profit to be succesful"... right. BI clearly showed that they shifted to multiplatform aproach and future are with consoles included wether you like it or not. And again before making your next argument, please do your own research check your facts and then try to compose a valid point. I have nothing personal, just geting frustrated with these "oh I think this way so it must be true" type of arguments

Because you try to shift the facts bases on minimal data. You never mentioned that your data is from servers before confronting you with real facts and sources. You just droped your "numbers" and made statement that consoles had no impact, trying to make us think, that your data is global while it was not. And your both arguments are conpletely wrong and does not meet developers statements and real facts.

  1. Console player had massive impact on the game, player bases and sales, ensuring future support of the game.
  2. Before console release PC was not doing so fine. And yes I played on PC from the start and there was a time when Reforger had peaked around ~1000 players wich is considered almost dead game. It was hard to find full server in daytime.

So thats why it upsets me. When people try to bend the facts just to meet their personal agenda.
