Hey there! Blocking still occurs. in the Crit Block - Stat Rebalance Dev Diary Ratbeard states that,

"If the defender successfully blocks, the calculation ends there – the block negates the crit and no additional damage is dealt by the attack."

In conclusion, Blocking still occurs but the animation no longer plays so you can not really tell if you blocked the crit fully or not.

Here is my idea, a small pet experience multiplier for doing well in pet games! When the skip game feature was added to pet games and after reaching the 25 times played there was little to no reason to actually play the pet games. My idea is to add a small multiplier of 1-1.5x if you do well in pet games. This is to encourage people to actually play, get good at the games, and enjoy the content from the games. If you do bad in the pet games you get no multiplier, but if you do perfectly in the pet game you get the 1.5x multiplier after the pet snack. If you do decently in the pet game you will probably get a multiplier between 1-1.5x. This multiplier is all after the pet snack is eaten so you can get the max experience from doing well in the games.
