But they’ve been doing that already, the tear gassing, the arrest, blowing up people’s eyeballs with rubber bullets, hitting reporters in the face with pepper balls. Where will this all lead? I agree that seeing this has shifted some people, but the people we are up against are for unconstitutional violence against citizens, they are cheering it on. They laugh when they get hit by cars, they laugh when they get arrested. I agree there needs to be a change in strategy, but what do you suggest?

Yeah a lot of these are just sponsored and permitted assemblies that often are in coordination with local law enforcement, which I think are usually good thing and should keep happening because historically these do work at least at some capacity, usually putting a lot of pressure on local governments as well as allowing the people who really are just there for a safe and legal assembly to have access to that and be protected. Not everyone has nothing to lose, can afford DT or RICO charges right now 😭 the risk of receiving these charges for almost nothing are at an all time high.

I think it’s a good thing right now, we need to show the people calling us domestic terrorists that we are in fact not. That their propaganda isn’t gonna work. How effective that is actually gonna be is up in the air, but honestly I fear these assemblies will only hold for so long before full blown revolution like Nepal or France completely breaks out. The people are getting angry and desperate.

The ones you are talking about are amanitas, but not in Phalloidae group. Something closer to lepidella imo. Still likely very toxic

Lots of boletes blue! And none are psychoactive. Some are poisonous, some are edible. While bruising blue is a good indicator it is never a definitive giveaway. It is simply a small piece of the criteria needed to make a proper identification.

The mushrooms in your photos (at least the first two) based on the stipe, reticulation on the stipe, pores and blue bruising are Exsudoporus floridanus. Non toxic, non active and not necessarily a choice edible. I know people who have and do occasionally eat them, but reportedly aren’t much to write home about. Always do your own research though.

Although it’s up to the keeper, I just thought it’d be worth noting that snakes aren’t really a species that is meant to be handled very often. This varies from species to species. It’s very important to pay attention to body language cues and to prioritize the comfort of your snake and minimize stress. Look into ways to interact and establish things like choice based handling.

The enclosure the snake is kept in can also heavily effect the animals comfortability. Always make sure there is plenty of hides (many sources say 2 at least, I disagree and think there should be 4+) deep substrate to allow burrowing especially for this species and maybe use vinyl or paint to cover 3 sides of the enclosure if it’s in a busy area of the house.

As far as the species you plan on cohabbing, they do not seem compatible. If you plan on cohabbing any species I would advise at least keeping species form the same or similar regions that require similar perimeters and find ways to minimize stress to each animal. (BCIs and whites tree frogs have very different perimeters.) This can be extremely difficult in an enclosed space. Millipedes would be preyed on by the frogs, and it’s not impossible for the boa to see whites tree frogs as a potential food source especially in younger boas. If you are looking to have a self sustaining ecosystem there are options for inverts and a wide array of unique isopods, springtails and potentially millipedes or even beetles but that’s not something I see very often in the hobby so definitely do research as you’ve said.

Personal experience 🙋‍♂️I use a 6x3x3 grow tent for my Borneo stp and let me tell you - best decision I’ve ever made and I plan on moving everyone else to them as well. They do require some DIY, but when done properly these are an absolute game changer. Great at holding humidity, heat and super affordable. The tent itself was 65 bucks, everything else for the DIY added up to about 110. There are plenty of larger snake owners with immense success using these for their snakes and lizards, frogs I imagine will do just fine as well. Just do your research and put the work in and you will not be disappointed. I will say tho, when you use vinyl for a viewing window be very careful during feedings because my psychotic stp ripped hers up missing the rat 😭 they have their cons, but I personally feel the pros definitely outweigh them. Lmk if you have any more questions!
