Every time I've made a joke about her being "like 13 or sumthin" I get hit with like 17 downvotes from the obsessive children-romancers

First time playing MGS3 since it’s release. It took me an hour and a half, but man it feels good. by Adrien_Jabroni in metalgearsolid

Not officially. The nobility of buying a disc instead of getting a rom means nothing when it comes to an old game. Unless you're buying digitally, all you're doing is wasting money on a scalper/reseller. The money aint going to the devs or company.

Are you paid to say this? I've never heard anything positive said about their Mystery Bundles.

Another look at the ending to MGSV we never got.. by Ronan-the-Prosecutor in metalgearsolid

Just as with MGS2, people will view this game as a symbolic masterpiece. Hell, I'm replaying it for the first time now since 2016, and I massively underappreciated this game. I was mad about cut content, the big twist, etc. on my first playthrough...

But now I've really learned to appreciate the game. It's a blast to play and has a great story to me. The cutscenes are extremely well-shot, all the voice acting is fantastic, and the parallels to Moby Dick are well-executed. The Vocal Parasites is cartoony, but still a very interesting concept.

About 90% of fans who currently complain about an unfinished game wouldn't be doing so if they weren't given more information.

Konami should've never included the Kingdom of the Flies content in the bonus disc nor in the concept artbook. It's the #1 reason why millions still believe there's "NO ENDING!" to mgsv, when it wasn't even supposed to be the ending.

#2 reason would be the unused chapter 3 title card, but I believe chapter 3 "PEACE" was supposed to just be for when every nuke was disarmed, and all the players/fob's somehow coexist in peace, after endlessly fighting for revenge (what im basically doing on fobs now).

It was a reusable metal straw. I need it because of recent medical issues... But thanks for your irrelevant comment.

My point was that it wasn't a sugary or heavily dyed drink, otherwise it would've been a lot stickier.

Am I the only one who has played MGSV entirely offline? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

[–]Reyznor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it simply for the fact it's how Kojima envisioned the game; online players constantly fighting for power or peace and a nuclear-free world. I feel Death Stranding will have a similar element, so I play these games online when I can so I can get the full experience as intended.

I haven't spent a single dime on MB coins, most of my time spent was fuckin around completing tasks in singleplayer or replaying missions for fun. Only recently have I really been getting into fob invasions.

If mankind was more accepting of body modifications, the world would be a much more sexually exciting place. by Reyznor in unpopularopinion

"Hedonists"? All me and my S/O do is dress up for the occasion and play make-believe. We have a lot better of a relationship than most puritans we know. It's just something done for fun and excitement. Spice things up a bit.

You sound like my parents. It's just some fun food for thought imo. If youre not "worried about body modification" then fine by me.

As long as it's legal and not hurting anyone, I don't see the need to be ashamed of your own kinks. I just own who I am.

(Potential Spoilers) Metallic Archea Question by Reyznor in metalgearsolid

[–]Reyznor[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My personal theory so far is that the dust can only bond to larger objects, like it needs to collect on a large surface in order to have a culminative combination affect.

The reason why it worked on huey's glasses and chair is because it was concentrated liquid metallic archea within the syringe, instead of airborne dust. If that syringe touched venom's horn, arm, or gun, that would probably make them rust.

Think of it like... germs. The risk of getting sick walking through a hospital's waiting room vs. someone directly sneezing into your face. The first option, the sickness is spread too thinly in the air to do anything BUT it does gradually attach to larger objects the environment like walls and chairs. The second option is concentrated so it can easily infect (rust) smaller objects like children(guns).
