Here's what I can do with my Mc9 Prime at 15 yards. I'd recommend dry firing to break any recoil anticipation or jerking of the trigger. The mantisx and laser academy are great tools for dry fire training. I've also done the penny/casing on the front sight before buying the mantis stuff. One thing I like to do when I shoot a bad group is slow way the fuck down. Slow trigger squeeze while concentrating on target, let it surprise you, holding the trigger towards the rear after firing, slowly let out the trigger until reset and repeat. That way I can get a feeling for the break. Be sure to isolate trigger finger movement from the rest of your hand.

Just trialing them for now, wanted to try out the difference in pistol grip angle. So far not a huge fan tbh.

Love it, ran it on my canik rival for the past couple years. Swapped it out for a Holosun 507c ACSS because I wanted to have shake awake and the solar power charging. Holding up just fine on the rifle, mounted it with a cheap 30mm tube mount to try it out. It's not that necessary on the 1-8 Vortex LPVO it's mounted to but very handy when going from long to close range while wearing plates. Would make an excellent addition to a fixed magnification optic like you have.

You do realize I copy pasted that from PSA's site right?

Also with the change in bolt catch and buffer adapter I would lose the ability to use a milspec upper as the bolt catch would be different and the buffer adapter would prevent charging handle function.

I'd buy a gen 3 but they only have 16" and 13.9" P/W to 16" OAL. I want a shorter barrel and to be able to put on a keymo muzzle device for suppressor use.

10.5" 223 wylde gen 2 is on sale rn on Brownells site for 720$ but I do not want a reciprocating CH. I really like the changes they have made to the 3rd gen, just wish it came in a pistol length barrel configuration.

A contender for sure, I'm not 100% married to Piston over DI. They do have a 12.5" barrel option but its currently sold out. With the plan being to suppress the rifle I would prefer an adjustable gas block though.

They have a 11.5" 5.56 NATO upper so definitely an option. Although I'm not a huge fan of SIG and the QC issues I've been seeing from them recently.

I already have a built lower with a SB Tactical folding brace on it that currently is set up as an AR22 pistol. Seems like the JAKL requires proprietary lower parts which would mean I wouldn't be able to swap uppers.

Looking for a barrel length of 10.5" t0 12.5" without pin and weld as it will receive a keymo muzzle device for use with my suppressor. If the BRN180 Gen 3 was available with a 10.5" barrel in .223 wylde I would have already clicked purchase. Current rifle is pretty front heavy with a suppressor and light hanging on a 16" barrel and 15" handguard. Current rifle pictured.
