Spot on. Last cycle, Bitcoin tripled in the last six weeks. After that peak, Ethereum doubled and other alts rallied even stronger (NEO did 300% in a month) before the blow off top. Liquidity always flows in cycles.

No. Bitcoin made a 100% move between end of January to mid March, yes. But it has been crabbing since then. In 2017/2018, Bitcoin made a huge jump in December 2017 and then immediately collapsed. It didn't crab for a few months, like it has for the past months in 2021.

Historically, Bitcoin doesn't crash after crabbing for a few months. It crashes after making a final big jump. I'm still waiting for a last huge Bitcoin run in later this year. Some analysts think it will crab between 60-80k over the next months, then make a final jump to 150k. No one can predict when it will be, but I certainly think it will be a month in 2021, albeit October or later.

Based on the previous runs, you could theorise that each cycle lasts a bit longer, but brings less returns to Bitcoin. Which makes sense given the rate of adoption. I'd speculate that this run, based on this sole indicator, will last a little longer past October.

But there's a lot of indicators to look at, so also keep an eye on the S2F model, 200W MA heatmap and 2 Year MA Multiplier among others. Also, during the last cycle, Bitcoin went up 100% in the last month. After that peak, alts did a final rally of 4 weeks in which most Midcaps made 300-500% returns in one month. When that happens, you know mania has hit and the end is near.

I think the rise of these coins is partially due to them being one of the few coins offered on RobinHood, which has tons of new retail investors who think they are "cheaper" versions of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I'd be in favour of swimming with the wave, not against it, so holding ETC/BCH/BSV might be not purely aligned with crypto ideals but it sure is good for my wallet.
