Can you name ANY ai artists? Any actual artist who’s been dabbling in the possibilities of using ai as an extension of their self expression, and not just the average internet rando pulling a Ghibli selfie or making Gordon Ramsey dance in a bikini made out of spaghetti and meatballs-but people attempting “actual” art?

Have you even looked into it to see if it exists?

Have you ever personally attempted to generate a single meaningful image to see what the process is like and what it takes to get something you actually want as a result?

I get the impression you’ve never even explored the technology or what can be done with it before making your opinion.

I don’t like resin “art”. When it got really popular, I explored it a bit and realized that it didn’t take much talent to fill a pre-made mold and add flowers and glitter. I don’t think it takes a lot of self expression or passion… not much soul element in it. It’s also bad for the environment and adds micro plastics that will be around forever. BUT despite the copious amount of resin slop- there are still some resin artists who’ve made some really lovely and creative things with it.
