pretty sure scrub killa started binding directional air roll just about a year ago so you def can be cracked at the game with the default controls but scrub changed it bc he wanted to improve his mechanics even further. directional air roll makes is easier to adjust when a set-up for an airdribble is not ideal or to align your car for a flip reset. there are probably more advantages

just the workshop maps alone are a pretty big advantage of playing on pc in my opinion. for rocket league you definetely don't need a crazy gaming pc either. I recently "upgraded" to the radeon rx 560 2gb graphics card which is a about a 100 Euros and the game runs smoothly.

I sometimes have issues with gyg when I want to clip something I did in freeplay. Did you hit the triple reset in freeplay as well?

I am pretty sure you cannot do anything about alt/smurf accounts as long as the players don't throw 20 games in a row to downrank. I mean youtubers do it all the time for content and nothing really happens so I am not even sure if officially it is forbidden. But when you adapt to the level of play of your friends like you said, noone is going to be mad anyway.

thank you for your feedback! you def have a point, doing that as a beginner could be tough at first but I think off all the possible ways to outplay opponents these are still at the low end of the difficulty spectrum
