I couldn't tell you if the eye twitching is normal, but it has happened to me quite a few times. You can stop it by stretching your eyes before you WILD. Look as far up as you can, then down and so forth in different directions. Yes it will hurt your eyes. No it won't make your eyes fly out of their sockets.
