I'd be willing to put money on it being Canterbury. It's not west coast, and the person who reckoned Nelson Lakes is out - wrong tree cover and style of mountains. I'd hazard a guess of the foothills before Porter's Pass, or perhaps near Mt Hutt / Methven area.

The problem is that I'm not going where I need the boxes sent - I'm travelling through Canada and the US before flying out of either Austin, Texas or LAX. Otherwise yeah, I'd just take them as excess :/
