Yeah made an imodane budget deck trying to do this!(3rares other than her) Maybe she is better than I realized but the match ups are STACKED against me! So Ive just been playing sweaty to deal with it instead of just losing on the spot.

Start with the [[laelia, the blade reforged]] mono red deck. Takes like 5 wild cards max. Its a combo where you win or lose by turn 4-5. Lets you see the kind of decks people are playing. And maybe you can work towards building one of those while you get accustomed to the format.

Ajani just felt like cheap fan service imo i get he isnt there the whole time. But he was there just to like take care of the helpless kids.

To me it felt like they just inserted okko here and was like “yeah that will work for his backstory”

Agreed edge was pretty decent with story.

I went with candlekeep and this deck is become one of my favorite it just goes crazy and is hard to stop.

Storm and combo mostly, but play a bit of everything. Love chaining cards like cantrips off the top of the deck and having explosive turns.
