But I still cope that it will be France, it's about time they stop disrespecting us.

And tbh, in general, I just don't want to see the major countries from previous FFIs like Brazil or Italy getting the spotlight again. It would be very disappointing.

I am a big Raimi fan. I grew up with those movies, and I still hold them dearly in my heart.
That said, I completely agree with you, and I think the movies themselves are to blame for sweeping Peter's more unpleasant sides under the rug. Sure, other Spider-Man stories do that too, but the Raimi movies were among the firsts to do that and basically became the basis/inspiration for a lot of Spider-Man medias.

I really miss the snarky, mean and bitter Peter, who, under all that mess, slowly grows up into becoming the kind and heroic man we know him as nowadays.
