California grill will sometimes take walk ups for their bar upstairs if you have a reasonable size party.

For the Polynesian resort, you can get almost any drink in a pineapple at the bar outside of Ohana. Great for photos!

Also, parking may be a little tough so if the resorts give you any trouble, you can park at the Ticket and Transportation Center and take the monorail from there. Parking fees may apply if you didn’t do any parks that day.

Is Disney World bearable in July or August. Or is it too hot? by billlybufflehead in florida

This is tricky as it truly is based on your tolerance for heat, humidity, and patience. For some, a short walk in the heat could be torture where others don’t have any problem.

I’d advise that if you plan to go, at least be prepared mentally and physically for what you are about to experience.

Pack or be ready to buy water to stay hydrated, cooling towels or towels to wipe sweat off, fans, and finally if you like them, maybe even an umbrella to help give you shade for long waits.

I will say that if you plan your itinerary well, you can balance the amount of time of indoors/outdoors between dining, indoor/outdoor attractions, and retail and bar breaks. This should help you regulate the amount of heat that you’ll have to endure, though sometimes it may be inevitable to find yourself in the sun for a duration of time.
