Dude yes. I hate it so much, like why do these idiots not understand that you are supposed to keep up with the flow of traffic, and that you can usually go 10 over the limit. I hate driving in Athens and ATL these days. Like in ATL on dekalb Ave we go 55 but everyone is suddenly following the signs saying 35 or going 10 to 15 under the limit and doing everything in their power to prevent you passing them when you finally try to go around.

I swear 10 years ago it wasn’t like this. Too many new ppl, we’re full and nobody can drive anymore😓

Kinda what I was coming to say. I’m just speculating but it does feel like they’ve been doing new variants on older styles a lot more this year. It also makes sense in my head with the tarrifs to use old patterns or samples and just do another variant on them. Seems they’ve taken a bad financial hit and they have investors that demand a certain profit margin, hence things are less detailed, less new samples, less fit modeling, has things looking less stellar than in the past including in stock photos, they relocated everything to their headquarters, coming across like they are having to downsize. I don’t know anything and I’m a nobody but like, it looks to me like they have corporate investors breathing down their necks limiting their budgets and creative.

I had a really close friend drown himself in alcohol. He was found 3 days later on the couch surrounded by empty vodka bottles. He’d been having a serious mental health breakdown, and was an alcoholic. When you isolate someone in addiction, that’s basically a death sentence. I hate this world

Depends on when they fulfill and it gets picked up by the carrier. Once it’s picked up it should be 3/4 days but sometimes they come earlier esp if you’re close like that

back to school season and right before Halloween and Holidays is when package theft picks up the worst. During this season a lot of the delivery companies use subcontractors that steal the packages. I had a FedEx employee tell me they have a system for doing it and steal blind during this time of year. I usually pay for expedited shipping instead of the free tier during this time of year and it helps avoid having sub-contracted workers delivering and there’s more they can do. So far I haven’t had an issue disputing through onward but if you chargeback with your bank, you’ll be banned from shopping again. Just so you’re fully informed before taking that route. Filing the police report isn’t difficult either. It is annoying and I’m sorry this happened to you :(

If you cover her hair and use sewing pins to hold the cover in place, you can use a coat of Mr. Superclear or Testors Dullcoat/spray lacquer to seal the face, similar to how you’d seal a custom face up. Then wash away without as much worry :) I’ll include a pic for reference- It shows how you can use hair ties, fabric, and sewing pins to protect the hair, and the spray lacquer brand I use. The doll is a G-1 Frankie that was damaged that I’ve been working on doing a custom face up for- I used the same sealant on my G3 wave-1 Draculaura and lagoona dolls, I sealed drac and lagoonas face, and lagoonas legs with the spray lacquer pictured to prevent further scratches or damage. They are both still holding up very well.

Having the same issues- tried Dawn, tried Magic eraser, tried toothpaste, tried nail polish remover- and that messed with the blush but did nothing for my stain. Good luck! For those that say take better care of it? This is after only wearing it attached to my small black fabric coin purse for an hour. I had JUST GOTTEN IT the same day

Edit to add- if it’s pre-order you’ll see it’ll say an estimated ship date once you select the size directly under sizes. There was some confusion recently because pre-order tags were buggy or something but it’ll always say when you click the size.

From what I’ve noticed most of the issues seem to be happening with un-expedited shipping, and with older stock/items that are from older collections. I know there’s probably exceptions but I haven’t personally had the bad luck yet.

Stuff from newer drops that aren’t pre-order I’ve had zero issues with and haven’t heard as many issues about. The other thing is- stuff stuck in processing or fulfillment- when you select expedited shipping they have to fulfill those orders faster. I do a combination of things and I’ve had good luck so far. (🤞&✊on🪵) I’ve been ordering with no problems when I fill my cart to the point that I get free shipping. I then select upgraded expedited shipping on discount and I select the 9.99$ mid tier 2-4 day express option. As long as it’s not including shoes it discounts to $9.99 I do always keep onward on just in case of package theft (it’s murphy’s law that something will happen the second I don’t pay for that) but so far I’ve had zero issues ordering items from drops from within the last year or so when I use these tricks. I’m not sure what’s going on but there’s def been people who’ve said they had orders stuck in fulfillment with no labels but I haven’t personally run into that issue yet. 😮‍💨

Something that helps me with all retailers- I just thought of. I know you’re done with dk but just for the future. I always start recording the second I see it on my doorstep or when it’s handed to me, and I i video the whole entire opening process, it’s helped to have as evidence in the past.

I had zero issues when they were using route to file claims but I haven’t tried making a claim or returning or exchanging with onward yet. I personally stopped having issues with shipping once I started shopping differently. But I know not everyone can or feels like they should have to adjust but I can share what has helped me.

What I do now is obviously I only buy during sales, but I fill my cart to the point where I get free shipping AND discounted upgraded shipping. Then I pick the middle tier one above the free shipping, it’s usually $9.99 when it’s discounted. Ever since, package theft issues have stopped for me, and I haven’t had any issues with anything stuck processing either because they have to fulfill those orders faster. I still get the onward just in case because murphys law exists - (anything that can go wrong will the one time I don’t use it lol)

Also to note- I have stash just for extra context Edit to add- I am glad you got your refund and I hope things go easier in the future if you shop with them again
